Well, I've finally been able to play a little bit of MB2 and suddenly I'm getting errors..

I got into the MB2 LunarBase server and managed to play for a bit until this error came up:

Oddly enough, I also noticed a new folder in my JKA directory titled: MBx.íÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ
and files in that folder include: uix86.dll

Anyone know what's going on?

looks broke to me az,
start from scratch with JKA install, then patch, then MBII installer!

I realllllly don't like the name of that folder. Might be a badass virus. Do u use firewall? Do u download files from trustworthy websites?

I agree with the virus thing, you should use a virus scanner and scan your JKA folder to see if there are virus's in there.

I try to scan every file i download to avoid getting a virus. Yet there is still the possibility of a hacker, i am sure it will reduce your chance of having a virus on your computer.

I doubt a modern sophfiscated virus would be so obvious and attack a non sys folder. but betterto be safe than sorry, look to me like it corrupted!

You can try panda activescan if you don't have an antivirus.
