Battle Droids

I was playing as a Battle Droid several times before now and suddenly I find they have disappeared from the server. The guys like ShamaN don't believe me but I know they do exist, many have played them and so have I. I am going to try and rejoin the server at some time but this is very wierd!

Anyway, I do enjoy playing MBII lots but this has kinda annoyed me. I just cannot select them, usually they are before the Imperial Officer, there are 5 types, but they have just disappeared :confused:

I have rejoined the server but they still don't appear :( Unfortunately the main server is down I think...but I don't know as they are all called Movie Battles (www.moviebattles.com ;)

Well i can choose Qui Gon Jinn as a jedi when playing in the non pure server... so maybe it's the same thing with droids. I've never really seen anything but droidekas in MBII.

Battledroids will be implemented after all...but as far as I know coding is more relevant to this open beta. As soon as the game is really stable, the team wants to tweak out player classes.

I saw BattleDroids, which was on an unpure server.

I've played as Battle Droid too. I've got "DJ:s server pack", which is a lot of great models clumped together.

Battle droids can be seen in the same way as stormtroopers or you basic rebel soldier...

...cannon fodder!

So the battle droid does not have it's own special class. Instead, it shares the soldier class with these other types of combattent.

I will print up a full list of the extra supported models (i.e. non base-jka models) soon...
