View Full Version : Has this happened to anyone else? (Jedi warping)

Now I don't believe this is a connection issue, even though my ping is usually bad because of location, I have my nights (rare as they might be) with good ping, and no matter what the setting, I find that rarely, but often enough, that when executing an attack while running (usually sideways slash while running around me) they hold still for a minute, (Like they were lagged out and then a second later I find the "death screen" up saying Myname was sabered by Theirname.

I move around and fire fine for the brief duration of the "warp" and everything seems normal other than the fact that the jedi seem to "warp" though they say that they didn't, and a recorded game would probably prove that they're right.

It's happened with me as every class, but it seems more frequent when playing soldier, mando, or wookiee.

Looks like lag to me (and has happened to me when lagging).

It's happened at all times, when jedi, and myself have had good ping, bad ping, I've had good he's had bad, and vise-versa.

Therefore I have to consider that it's something other than lag. Perhaps there's some sort of large code involved when making a specific saber attack (I know nothing about coding) That would take my computer a while to process and produce an effect that resemble's lag?
