So after about 8 years I think I want to replay both KotOR's and I assume that by now there are lots of mods and usually I do browse through hundreds of 'em to find those suitable for me.

I will probably still end up doing that but this time I want some halp. :D

So which mods did you guys enjoy? Top on my list are good restoration / added content mods.

there was that one extended force power mod, something similar for TSL.

For KotOR 2, there is actually a restored content mod that does everything Team Gizka once promised: http://deadlystream.com/forum/forum/4-tslrcm/
It adds a lot of stuff and is consistent with the rest of the game, I played KotOR 2 again last year with this and it was definitely good.

Another one I can think of is improved Ebon Hawk textures. They're worth getting.

K1: Brotherhood of Shadow. Its all you need, really. Maybe a robe/face mod or two.

K2: TSL restored content, ultimate saber mod (usm), high level forcepowers, robe/face mods if you want.

Theres a hi-res texture redesign mod for both games (i think) but some of the new designs are pretty bleh if you ask me. And if you have an older system it'll make ya lag.

I know some of these files will be extremely hard to find, alas, I don't have them anymore.
Also bear in mind that when I replayed KoTOR 2 with these mods, the restoration project wasn't released yet.

I'll edit this post once I find my KoTOR 1 list.

EDIT:

These all are the mods I could remember or found in my chat logs.

You betcha.

Just one advise, The Weapons of the Old Republic is in theory not compatible with Bastila's darkside reskin because they both use the same scripts for darkside Bastila at the end of the temple and Starforge sequences.
However, it's not hard to fix. Just install Weapons of the Old Republic last and edit these 2 scripts below using the KoTOR tool, changing Bastila's alignment following the reskin scripts values.

The scripts you need to change are:

sta_bastila.utc
sta_bastila001.utc

I've read that many older mods have compatibillity issues with other mods and that theres a tool called TSLPatcher made for newer mods ... as long as this is not as annoying, as installing Fallout3 mods it should be fine.

I've read that many older mods have compatibillity issues with other mods and that theres a tool called TSLPatcher made for newer mods ... as long as this is not as annoying, as installing Fallout3 mods it should be fine.

TSLPatcher mods should always be installed last because they will edit instead of overriding current files.
Unfortunately it does not edit compiled scripts like ncs, or non-compiled scripts like utc.
So, install all the non-patcher mods first, and then you start installing all the TSLPatcher mods.
It's way easier than Fallout 3.

I had a mod installed which added some extras force powers and the 7 lightsaber forms for KoTOR 1, but I can't find it.

http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t189/robx_photo/kotor0003.jpg

See the form icon at the southeastern panel.

This prequel lightsabers mod is a bit buggy aswell because the author himself said that you couldn't replace the blade's model, only draw over it.
It's way better than the original though.

None of the mods I recommended you conflict with each other, with the exception of darkside Bastila and Weapons of the Old Republic, and I already gave you the solution.

EDIT:

Found it.

For some reaosn the mod isn't being displayed when searching for "force", "pack" or both.

For lightsaber forms only you could also try this one:
