I noticed a few issues with the disruptor rifle that i tested with roadkill on a server a little while ago
What i tested with roadkill was:

Test : Shooting a sith with a charged up shot on lvl 2 defence while blocking.
Out come : Sith survived and only took a little damage no matter where shot

Test : Shooting a sith with a charged up and normal shot on lvl 3 defence while blocking.
Out come : not being able to shot the sith anywhere or cause damage

Test : Shooting a sith with a charged up and normal shot while sith is running at me
Out Come : Not being able to shot the sith anywhere or cause damage

Now i've just come off a server and found another issue that might need addressing. Heres the test and results

Test: Sith with lvl 3 defence NOT blocking
Out Come : Shot with a normal disruptor shot in the mid rift area. It took his health from 100 to 37.

Test : Sith with lvl 3 defence doing a saber throw.
Out Come : shot with a normal disruptor shot in the mid rift area. It took his health from 100 to 90 and a second shot from 90 to 78.

What made me do this test was while on the wire play server i shot a Jedi doing a saber throw with a charged up shot and he still survived. after i saw him survived i went into spectate mode and checked his health and he only had 67. i no the mb team knows of the issue i tested with Roadkill but i want to bring the saber throw one to the attention incase they didnt no

Just to clarify, during the saber throw, the saber itself was nowhere near the line of the shot?
i.e. the jedi was totally defenceless?

I've actually hit jedi with my saber whilst theres is in the air to no avail, it appears to act as though they are defending with saber.

That's about right. Using the Disruptor Rifle to combat a high level Saberist isn't the best option. We can't balance every setup vs every class, there are is certain required weaponry which either makes it easier or gives you the ability to defeat another class.

Also remember that it has been made quite clearly that Blocking Shots and Manadrain have been altered in B16.

To throw the saber for longer distances, a player must directly hold the Block button after the initial throw. Due to this, damage is reduced on impact and gives a Jedi some failureopputurnity. The drawback is that it's one way only and as a gunner you can easily inflict enough damage to kill.

So they can block a saber when they dont have one themselves?

but when he threw the saber he wasnt holding block he just threw the saber normally.

also the part about not being able to shot a jedi/sith while running while that be sorted at all cause surely while your running your not holding block allowing you to shot him

as for jawas question the shot was no where near the saber.

Maybe it's as intended but i don't agree with giving them ANY defense while the saber is flying, if they are concentrating on making it fly they would have to be vulnerable.

yeah cause then the bugger came up and killed me after i shot him

I have to agree with alesh here. I think if a jedi manages to avoid thier thrown saber and get a clean hit in, it should be curtains for the thrower.
