Because it appears that many people are not aware of how to install Simple Anti Cheat. I have constructed a step-by-step guide on how to do everything. If this doesn’t help you, I don’t know what else there is…
1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Type in www.moviebattles.com in the website browser.
3. Click on Downloads
4. Click on Simple Anti Cheat
5. Look at client download. You do not need the server one unless you have your own server, and wish to upload to it.
6. Click on HTTP, and you get a menu where you can open, save, or close it. Click Save

7. Now you get to choose where you save it too(I am on vista so yours may look different.) I am choosing my Desktop because it is an easy place to find.
8. Now it’s on my desktop and I’m going to double click it.
9. Now I have a menu within winrar. If you do not have winrar, you can either google “winrar” or use the built in extraction tool(Right click extract too). Extracting is simply taking a compressed file(it’s compress to make it smaller) and restoring it to it’s usable larger self. Click Extract if you’re using winrar.
10. Now I get a whole bunch of options, You do not need to worry about any of those. Except the location you want it, It should by default pick the current location of the .zip or .rar file, So you can just hit okay. I am clicking on the desktop spot, so all the icons and files appear directly on my desktop.
11. Now notice, All my files are outside on my desktop. The .rar/.zip file is still there, in case you had a bad extraction.

12. Now find your icon, for “My computer” or hit the start button and hit computer.
13. Now look for whatever drive you have your Jedi Academy game installed too. Mine is on the C:\ drive
14. Then in my program files.
15. Now into the Lucas Arts folder.
16. Then into Star Wars folder.
17. Now into your gamedata folder

18. Now I open the readme.txt for SAC, and read some info about what I’m suppose to do. It explains what files do what, and where the files need to go.
19. The file says I need to move all the files to my Gamedata folder, So I simply highlight all the icons, and drag them into the folder.
20. Now notice, they’re all in the gamedata folder. You could do this faster by simply extracting all these files into the gamedata, but if this helps then go this route.
21. Now readme.txt says to run “dloader.” So I run it one time because I am not on linux. The game starts up.
22. I am now in-game, and have done what I needed. So I hit exit.
23. Now, I want to check to see if my SAC version is up to date, so I double click on “dversion.” It checks for an update, so I press okay.

24. I am all up to date, and nothing further is required. I can now go back to launching MBII the way I originally did (with a .bat file)
I hope this guide helped those, who were confused by this… If anybody needs more guides on how to install MBII, or SAC server side. I’ll post and try to help you.
This is for disabled people right? Or rather you want to show us your desktop. o0 The pics sucks. Anyway the server installation is much different. But thankfully there are readmes around.

We were getting complaints that people were unable to do this part...I realize how easy all of this part is but whatever. if a server guide is needed, I can do that too...

he's kidding, it's nice you took the time to make a step by step manual.
Good Job.

Well it depends on what you define "disabled" as :p
I once had to make a tutorial like this to show NS members how to accept and xfire clan list invite because alot of them couldn't figure it out.

My mistake, I forgot with server side you have to to rename a few files and then move them. I'm finishing the guide up, and I'll post it soon. Thanks for correcting that.

One question
Do i have to run the dloader on windows platform everytime before I play mb2?
Tried it today, went totally like wtf when I clicked it and it loaded the regular multiplayer I was like wat...
but yeah this guide actually helps, the readme should have a link to this thread or something for new people aswell. That be really useful.

No, you only have to load it one time (Unless you're on linux.) It likely loaded MBII, because you have your files set to load MBII as soon as startup occurs. So you should be all set.

Really? I didn't have to load it at all. I just connected to an SAC secured server and it let me. ;o
