Hiz,

When I run DLoader.exe, it drops me to base jk3, so afterwards I gotta load MBII mode by myself to be able to list mb2 servers running. Is there a way to make DLoader.exe drop me directly do MBII mode? When I run "wine DLoader.exe +set fs_game "MBII"", the console with "bla bla bla OpenGL started" normally appears and disappears and then wine says in a terminal:

err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection section 0x7bc9e6e4 "loader.c: loader_section" wait timed out in thread 001e, blocked by 0021, retrying (60 sec)

After said 60 secs (yes, it's pronounced "sex") wine says, that program has crashed. I dun know what does the "blocked by 0021" mean though. Maybeh only I are experiencing such a problem ?

wine version 1.1.31

If you don't use block quotes around the variable it works fine (Ubuntu 9.04, latest Wine).
Like this: DLoader.exe +set fs_game MBII

Ubu 9.04 here too. By latest Wine you mean latest in the Ubuntu repository, or latest in general? Anyway, it still keeps bitching the same error with or without the block quotes. I tried to run it in other terminal emulators, namely: konsole and xterm, and it finally worked. So I started to wonder wtf gnome-terminal is bitching about. I thought it is command interpretation issue, so I backslashed the plus sign (./DLoader.exe \+set fs_game MBII) and it worked. For a moment I felt like a god, but after some reproductions trials I switched the game into window mode, so I could know when it goes bitchy faster, and suddenly it start to dump the error from all the terminals, with or without the backslash trick. F*ck, I switched the game back to fullscreen and it's running by now. So eventually I found this problem random - maybe it's my linux configuration problem somewhere.

Yes.. that sounds like some weird issue on your end. I've got the latest wine from the WineHQ repositories.
