What should you do before running Simple Anti-Cheat (SAC)? First you must validate your security systems (such as a firewall or a virus scanner) and make sure they allow the game with the system to start and connect to the internet. A second important point is to disable compatibility mode for the game client. This is due some of the changed made by using this mode which are falsely identified as illegal modifications. The third and last major point is rather simple, make sure you have the original game binary (fully up to date). You can simply run DVersion.exe to verify your game client (it will give an error message if your game executable is an illegal one) and have the client system updated as well. It is recommended to do this before your first launch.
What software could cause a conflict with Simple Anti-Cheat (SAC)? Any piece of software that does not directly interfere with your game client will give no conflicts. However some of the more common pieces of software do interfere with the game client, such as a firewall. Because it needs to intercept connections made to the internet/network, it has no choice but to interfere with the game client. While this is by default allowed, software such as Comodo Firewall is much more invasive and is hard to exclude from the detection algorithm (Please note you must uninstall Comodo Firewall, disabling it doesn't do the trick). Other invasive software is also not supported, the major exceptions being Steam and Xfire. Common unsupported software includes Ultra Utility and Fraps.
Sometimes I randomly get kicked after playing for hours! Yes, this can happen and is indeed very annoying for you as the player. There is basically a single thing you should do to prevent this from happening. Make sure your network connection is stable and constantly connected to the internet. If you use bandwidth intensive programs such as P2P clients you will strain your network connection and possibly leave not enough bandwidth for Simple Anti-Cheat (SAC) to work with. When this happens, you will get kicked by the game server.
Place me in your game and verify you have an original executeable! When you get this and you have properly placed DVersion.exe in GameData, it means you are using an altered jamp.exe (for instance a no-cd crack). This is not allowed and you must restore the original binary. If you don’t have it anymore, you can download the Game binary package from the downloads page.
I've tried everything, but still get a problem! This happens, especially during the first period on the release. If you're absolutely positive you've tried everything (and you're not a cheater), head over to this link (http://www.moviebattles.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29223) and read carefully, this will help you get in contact with the author and trace down the problem.
