I decided to make this topic, because Deathspike is probably mad at everyone complaning.

Before you will report anything,read this! (http://www.moviebattles.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29172)
If that dosen't work, try these:

Run the game without any minimizers (e.g. Ultra Utility or TiM's Q3E minimizer).

Try turning off xfire or any other similar applications that could interfere with gameplay.

If you have Nvidia gfx card, set your jamp.exe 3D settings to default (Nvidia dosen't really interfere with the game itself, but it's worth trying). Any other game enhancers could alos interfere, but shouldn't.

Don't use Deathspikes unofficial launcher. The game detects it as a NO-CD crack.

Reset your cvars (Note: they automaticlly reset [if they are wrong] after you quit the game)

Remove your replacements.

Your Firewall
Your Anti-Virus
Operating System (E.g. Windows XP SP3)
What happened
If there was an error, what was it

I know that its severly off-topic but I just cant hold it anymore. Whats with the sheep under some members names! I demand an explanation! I noticed that most DG members have it but apparantly random people are starting with it too! (:p)

Im almost sure some of the people complaining forgot to actually remove their hacks from their mb2 folders lulz

6 easy steps:

1. put the client SAC in your gamedata folder
2. execute DVersion.exe. If it says "Place me in your game and verify you have an original executeable! " get the original jamp.exe (http://sac-project.co.cc/download/)
Dont go over this step until it says something like "doing update"
3. remove all the cheats from your folder... (obviously)
4. turn off any antivirus, firewall, etc (active programs that could interfere, just to try if its them)
5. ......
6. profit!

You seriously believe that people are complaining if they're trying to play with cheats? :rolleyes:

Well when they very first primitive anticheat came out, people were trying to play with cheats and going WHY AM I GETTING BOOTED I ONLY HAVE THIS THING CALLED OPENGL32.DLL IN MY FOLDER

Ok, i have enough of this. I must now find my CD with JA - nice, but i use this 2 years ago last time and now i don't have any idea where is it.

So i just delete this "Simple" Anti-Cheat and pray to not all servers use this.

SIMPLE ANTI CHEAT ACTS AS A NOCD CRACK. YOU DO NOT NEED TO USE THE UNOFFICIAL LAUNCHER, JUST USE THE SAC ONE.

You might want to add this to the OP, if you like that is.
One guy I know corrected errors in his registry files and was able to play on SAC servers. So I recommended it to a few more people, and it worked for them. I'm not sure it will work for everyone though, there are loads of free programs out there than can "clean" your registry files for you for free.

Yes, I am running it on Vista Home Premium x64 SP2 with no issues.

helpz

i tried everything, but when i try to update on Dversion.exe

it says:

"Please wait while the update server is being contacted!"

then i press OK and i get a new window:

"Error - a new update is available but an internal error occured!"

Your antivirus must've deleted dsac.dll :/ (or another file). Re dowload the AC.
