Making a new frag video and this time i am going to use HD quality ;P

I am igorant in HD matters, do you have to upconvert or something? Because i dont suppose fraps can record in hd?????

Also do you have to do anything special to upload hd to youtube?

well, mostly matters the resolution, 1280 x 720, theres more about in youtube.

anyways ya its true u cant do this on fraps.

I use virtualdub and huffyuv as codec, after saving teh clip as avi i edit them on sony vegas.

What do you use to get that, then?

1. Create demo's you wish to put in a video.
2. Lock the frame rate at a proper video frame rate (29.97 so use 30).
3. Ensure your graphical settings are set optimized with the custom resolution (1280x720 or 1920x1080).
4. Generate the images using cl_avidemo or something similar.
5. Create an uncompressed media file using the images and set frame rate to 29.97.
6. Edit, go nuts, have fun.
7. Compress the result using the h264 codec and complex encoding (details google)
8. Post on youtube

Maximum quality obtained.
