Massive FA Makers Weapon Pack

This pack is mainly for FA makers.
This pack includes 72 weapons of different types, effects for them and sounds for them, hopefully this pack will lead onto more people making FA's in the future, mainly modern war ones... Because thats whats in the pack... Modern weapons. o_o
The Readmes for the original packs are in the pack, along with a complete readme, unfortunately not all the weapons from the two packs Cjone2 released can be put in, as they 'dont look right'.
Also the bullet shells could not be in due to 'two from one shot' bug, which annoys me.
There are also Weapon Override templates.

Note;
Its recommended that you dont go apesh*t and add ALL the weapons to your FA... Just what you need.
Remember to test your FA before releasing it, the templates you use may be bugged.
The Readmes are in the pack but I'll post it after this post.
Now lets see the swarm of FA this gets. (One at most, my bets are on. ¬_¬)

There are other weapon packs that are related to SW that I might 'convert' into their own folders so they may be used.

MGM Uses the same assets as this pack but this pack makes the easyier to do, as they are in ONE folder and do not replace the normal weapons textures, if there are any conflicting ones.

I've seen that bug so many times its not funny.
In EfxEd it works fine, one bullet, but then in JKA there's two shells...
There is only one possible reason for this... Raven software... >:o
Fail on Raven's part.

(even if its not, half of MP jka's problems can in some way be attributed to crappy coding on Raven's part)

Nope.

I dont think its revans fault, its most likely to do with the fact that MB's blaster take 2 ammo each shot (3 on secondary lvl 2), other weapons shoot more, of course.

Yush. There are only two, one of which SomeOne's already had a go at but he didnt fix 'all' the weapon view models.
Theres the SWG one, which is on JKAfiles and there is another one (As above, SomeOne had a go at), I have both and will 'convert' them soon, Im just helping Plasma with Aliens at the moment.

Put the effects in base or JA+ (hell even clanmod if you've got that much spare time).

Same stuff happens, 2 shells, 1 bullet.

Yea, some of those I've fixed are even in the pack you claim to have made compatible for MB. Amazing part is that I had to use Max to fix a good deal of 'em, but I'm sure you somehow magically managed to do it without a 3D modelling app. ;)

Yup, I did it from the packs Plasma gave me, took me quite awhile mind you and was mind numbingly hard (Untill I got into sync and actually did them all). It was just scaling and moving them into position so they dont go through the view of the person.
I did use two modeling apps, GMax and Milkshape and one viewer app, MD3View.
GMax = Scaling and positions
Milkshape = Importing and exporting of MD3's
MD3View = Exporting MD3's and GLM's for a useable state.

By the way, is there anyway I can get over the 'too many verts' problem?

Who do you think fixed the guns in Plas' pack? ;)

About 'too many verts': First you check if there's any doubled verts by selecting everything and welding it with 0,1. If that changes nothing or not enough, you just split the mesh up into smaller parts.

It's the same for .md3 and .glm, only difference is that MD3View doesn't bitch about too many verts, whereas ModView does.

No, what you mean are LOD models (LOD = "Level of Detail", as in: heavy_repeater_1.md3, heavy_repeater_2.md3, heavy_repeater_3.md3, where _3 is the highest poly model), however, pahri and I said mesh, not model.

The mesh is basically nothing else but the surface you can edit in your 3D program, and if that surface is defined by more than 1000 vertices, you have to cut it into smaller pieces (we call that "creating a sub-mesh"). You'll end up with several meshes then which still only make one model. If you compile that model now, you got one that actually works with JKA.
