I'm trying to install movie maps, but when I open the .zip there is only one .pk3 and it holds all the maps, that is fine so I put it in my MB2 folder and start the game. But the maps aren't in my map list when I click to create a local server. What is the problem?

The PK3 is named 01_moviemaps.pk3

That is because they weren't made to appear in the list because of laziness.

Open console and type /map <Map name> to play them.

Here is a list of movie maps. (Names that work with the /map command)
Note that some of the maps are from v2 movie map pack,
and as such you might not have all of these...

Thanks for the help though, I thought I was going mad.

MEH, says disk 1 is not in drive... Guess I'll have to wait until I get home and pop the CD in, ISO doesn't seem to work.

For all I know that shouldn't happen when you use the /map command.

On the other hand, I have zero experience with local hosting... I always use jampDed. :confused:

Wrong. There's a limit to how many maps can be displayed in that list and as the Movie Game Mappack is read before all the other maps they are put to the end and cut off.

And you have to type g_gametype 7 in the console.

That doesnt make sense, that theres a limit to it...
I remember I had WAY more maps in the list in base JKA then the MB2 list has.
