Elite Troopers
Personally I have never liked the way normal troopers in different terrain gear were used for the Rebel Elite Troopers. I mean one of the guys is a Prisoner, so elite he got caught.

Now they've been renamed Commander, and look even less the part.

So I decided I'd replace all five models with something far more suiting.

I know technically it's possible for races such as Trandoshans and Rodians to have joined the Alliance but I'm not sure if it's a good idea of having skins of them in rebels when they are so associated with Bounty Hunters at this point..

These skins make ALOT more sense for the class.

I don't see how a guy in a jacket, prison outfit, or really gay camo pajamas w/overly large backpack makes a commander.

These however I can see. They're all wearing the same thing, which is actually a plus in my books.. especially since there are some alien models there which are already used for BH.

heh I remember the JK2 Singleplayer campaign those were made for .. it even had voice-acting but the levels were kinda so-so.

The skins are alright but I'd want to keep the Endor rebel.

Good models aye. I'd like to see all the human ones in the official pack.

Tho the only model I'd want to see removed from the current roster is the prisoner, because it's got 2 faces atm. You can see the face z-fighting all the time.

IMO those helmets look like the black et deathstar helmet...and they are kinda a dark blue...I could easily see myself blasting a teammate to hell as I pop around a corner

Yeah, they could use a reskin as far as the armor goes.

Look great, but the Hoth troopers (Cept the woman /sexist) and the Endor trooper need to stay.

As for the confusion between teams: Its far easier to tell these apart from their two BH counter parts than it is Clones and Stormtroopers for Example.

They have completely different attiare.

I remember this thread about this person making or showing new rebel elite models or was it skins?

The Idea came from some comic book, so the question is... is it still in the works? or was that dropped?

I think all of the skins except for the Endor dude should be ditched.
Then we need a proper Hoth model resembling those guys:

As for the rest .. well we know what concepts we'd want they just have to be modelled.

It does use two human males, but alas there were no females in the pack. If someone could model one then one of the two human males could be replaced.

I would say change the face a bit, so it doesn't seem exactly the same as the Endor one, make the jacket-thingy a bit more grungier, and then we've got a winner!

Erm, the jungle version is the one we already use in MB2. It's just there for comparison.
