View Full Version : Join Team Replacement.
If you have any nitpicks\it doesn't work, say so. :)
I think I actually suggested this ages ago. Nice job.
Hmph. I'm starting to dislike that gap between the picture and the scrollbar -_-
OMG.
Amazingggg.

Do you think you could replace the obj tab with the set-your-build-points tab?
The obj tab is pointless after like... spending 5-10 minutes on a map.

Actually, this might be win. The Obj tab is normally pretty useless anyways. You can press Esc for that. I'm not sure if its possible though. Hmm...lets see...
If it is possible, caveat: would require two sets of force config menus to update per build.
The way the menus are set up, its not really easy to do right now. I'd have to combine two menus, and its messy. Unless there is a way to open up two seperate menus and have them both be clickable,,,
Just make this official already :)

I have no problem with that.

Do eit.
;D

I'll try, but it will take a while. :/
Or you could at least hide the obj tab completely and make it so that all the model icons would be showing. Scrolling is fail. ;p
All I can say is, nice job Subaru. (expects this to be included in RC4 along with the new force powers icons and the MBII chat Icon) :D

But then there isn't room for a point loadout. ;)
This is very handy, nice job

Nice job Sub. Definitely an improvement over the current situation. Still wish I could see all of them, but I'll still use this until that's an option.

Objective bar is useless in the first place while joining...
Mb2 needs a default class and a default build, so a map reloads you dont rush to spawn correctly. When you join a server if you dont choose, it should make you a deflect jedi as default or like that..

For a while I've asked for an option to set a config as default. However, what I'm trying to do will (hopefully!) allow you to pick a class and build in two clicks right at join.

Subaru, you are the stuff of legend.
Ok...so...Its not currently possible to have models and point selection on the same screen. Why? Let me state the ways...
1. Lag when you change models. The game has to load up a new model, and it lags for a moment. I'm pretty sure there is a precache command somewhere though. Not sure.
2. Switching between Classes\Models would save that class\model. Meaning no canceling your selection. :)
To fix these problems (mainly number two), coding is needed. Either a unified force selection menu, or a way to store the current\previewed class as a cvar (the best method probably), or something.

Get on IRC and poke a coder then. :)
Yay!
Now I can see the 5 leias, 5 padmes and 2 han solos without scrolling!
This need to be offcialized.

They have better things to do. :P

Well if you can't do that... Can you make it show the selected model there (like ja+ does)? Maybe even with RGB sliders underneath?
I mean, it would be a waste to keep the objectives there...

I don't know. Let me peek at ja+'s menus and see how they solved the model cache thing.
EDIT: JA+ must have code helping them along. Can't seem to find any appreciable difference.
