A week ago I was playing on the new FA server. It amazed me how many people actually play it, and enjoy it. The server was very populated, and because it was a FA I decided to make a vid. None of this was directed, and no one acted in this film, this is pure FA gameplay. Now I'm not a prefect camera man, so excuse me for bad angles and stuff. Now if you can, please tell me what I can improve on :D

Always nice to see the FA server featuring in a video.:)

As for things to improve on, for the kind of video you did, there aren't too many things you could improve on. Filming spontaneous gameplay is really quite difficult and getting great shots can often rely on luck as much as good camera placement. However, next time you should try some still shots, pans, camera tracks that aren't wobbly and that stay on the action (lower your mouse sensitivity as well, that helps). Transitions should be kept minimal, yours didn't really fit in too well. But yeah a good start and definitely something you can build on.

How to get those saber clash effects with sparks?

Reminds me that gwen's (The universal Black Haired Jedi, which has 3 skin/models) sounds need changing. Pretty good vid though.

Awesome video. For 1v1 saber duels, occasionally have a top-down view on to the combatants. Also if a jedi gets riddled full of lead and dies, have the spectator camera over him and slooooooooooowly zoom out to emphasize "zomg he's dead." If you do this, however, have the music volume turned up for that moment to also emphasize the "zomg he's dead" feeling. I liked it though :D:D:D:D:D
