Ugh... OJP's attack animations always made me sick. Would be such a better mod if not for the ridiculous combination of several different saber styles for each set of attacks. They shoulda stuck with the base game's fighting animations, which look a lot better when strung together.
Shouldn't this be in the visual section?
Why can't our sabers be this clashy? :/
That would be awsome if MB2 looked like that. It actually looks like....they are dueling....

Well, it looks cool, but the learning curve is far beyond your imaginations! It takes OVER 9000!!!! years to master the basics, and it's rather spammy, and you need uber fast fingers.

Thats not true! I learned the basics quicker than in Movie Battles. Thats because u WANT to learn how to fight (because it looks so impressive). Not like in MB where you look like an idiot when you are slashing left right left right right left etc.
It has always been my dream to put this sabering system in MBII!

This entire thread is just more of a reason to scrap the current system and go for this. Especially since MBII already has a ton of OJP code.
EDIT: Didn't see a page 2... lol. Yarr, it's not super epic and, like every other jka duel ever recorded, it's boring to watch. Fun to play. Try it.
Looks better than MB2. Probably more difficult too. That wouldn't be good cause I'm already not very good at MB2 dueling.

There are reasons why OJP has a tiny playerbase. The gigantic learning curve (try to deny it all you like) is one of them.
I wish them well, but their system has no place in MB.
Believe me, they would probably prefer it that way, given their current betrayal of the first letter in their acronym.

It really is sad. The project (if you can even call it that...) is run by people that have been banned from here.

I see no way to access their source on their *new* site.
I really wanted OJP to succeed as a project. It's depressing. It really is.

Just a question of curiosity, but is it possible to combine mods?
Also, if we were to have this style of sabeirng in MBII then it would be a field day for those against honor dueling (just about all of us gunners), although if I remember correctly, it did have better 2 v 1 dueling.

At this point. It's not about combining. It'd be a complete re-write. With all the time and manpower something like a re-write would need.

This does indeed look nice but the saber teleport is a turnoff for me .. at least they have saber locks and only one slap during the whole fight. ^^

Wait, what happened to Razor?He left and new people took over. Among them is Tk|Paddy and some guys from the OJP forum, and I think JASK is in there somewhere as well.

Sorry for this, but I like the OJP dueling better even though it's more difficult. In fact, that's why I like it better. It's more technical, realistic (or movielistic), and more fun than the half-swing spam that plagues every server on MB2 these days. :-\

SW: The Old Republic is rpg, remember roll on shot deflect in KotOR, that's it . If baseJA noobs switch to The Old Republic online, there will be only OJP and MB2 .
