Can someone make a Genenosis MovieBattles map. With Hailfire Droids and Republic Gunships, AT-TE and Spiderwalker...but maybe those last 2 are a bit much :P ...... that would be awesome, plz give me ur opinion (though i cant make maps, im no good...lol)

Do a search for vehicles and you'll see my opinion of vehicle based maps for MB :P

moviebattles was not designed for vehicles.. try asteroids mod, if you like vehicles

not really what i meant....if you can be a droideka....i dont see why you couldnt be a hailfire, im confused...i know the vehicles are out of the question now, so what about hailfire......

in addition to that..

what if EVERYONE on Imps/CIS wanted to use the Hailfire? The model itself is uberly unbalanced-infinite missiles?!

limit the missiles to about 10...no upgrades will give you more

Have you seen their size in battlefront? They wouldn't be able to move around in most maps, droidekas have enough problems with that already.

yah like death star attk, it is soooooo laggy that u can barly move so i dont think it would be a good thing to have :mad: , but the idea is cool :D

ok first off........ EVER HEARD OF NABOO PLAINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


this was a multiplayer map with ever vehicle possable........

they had a flying republic gunship
3 diff swoop bikes
hailfire droid
x wing
tie bomber-fighter
naboo fighter
lambda shuttle
and mauls speeder


AND THER WAS VURTUALLY NO LAG!!!!!!!!


the key was making the vehicles spawn with a button and not sit there on auto spwn......



i played at this server with 30 vehicles at the same time........ and even on its worst day...........it was less laggy than the mb severs lately...




so i tell u this.......annyone want a geinosis map............ill make a map simular to the Battlefront one...........large open........the ony structures would be the rocketships.....the spire-hill......and foward command station

this could be a fun.....fast.....tactic battlefeild map...

i have a map like thisone that i made along time ago fr and old duel clan.......it fared fps freindly.....

if annyone wants this map....its really easy to make.......fun.....nice looking.....and i could hae it don in a week and a-half

P.S. the Hailfier droid made for JKA is like half the size of the Battlefront one....still looks reallistic

ive played naboo plains before......no lag....ds attack...yes lag....anyway, i first posted this like 2 hrs before i knew the arena was out...im happy with that...but that one like bf would look awesome!!!!!!!!! i think u should do it

We've had an open map, MB2 Arena
We've had a vehiculair map, MB2 Deathstar Attack
Now u wanna combine the two ?

Well, hey g'ahead, no one's stopping you. Just note that it has been proven tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and a bit more times over that q3 isn't made for big open maps, nor vehicals. But I guess the first two tries didn't convince you. I won't tell you I told you so, cuz I already have.

Yeah, hailfires are dozens of times the size of humans, they wouldn't fit in ANY JA map

Would this work,

Make everything 100% smaller, e.g; the models, the vechs, the maps=the same size

Would that reduce lag?

Unlikely. The reason vehicles lag is because of the entity-part of them in the code, and making them smaller doesn't get rid of that. Also, making the vehicles smaller doesn't really make the meshes less complex.

And another thing, you can't make the vehicles smaller by just modifying the .npc or .veh's. You have to actually make the model smaller, and then of course you'd have to do the animation and bone thing over again with it.
