So, in case i haven't posted them yet... cant remember if i have..
Here are a few mapping tools i made a while ago.. since p!ng asked.. and uh, they might be useful..

They might still have a few bugs, and you will most likely be able to crash them if you try really hard, since there are very few fail safes in place..

Oh.. and they need the newest .net Framework..

Anyway, they consist of a:

De(and re)compiler
Map to Ase Converter
Rotate Script maker

Don't use the decompiler to steal stuff ;) Oh, if the decompiler doesn't work, try checking the use command line window checkbox in the settings..

If you have any tool/feature requests, tell me..

You know.Saiying''don't use decompiler to steal stuff''is the same as saiying''hey go to the store and buy sweets but don't buy any candy.
Since i dont know anything about mapping i bid you farewell and good job.

I was looking for my map decompiler for a long time...and then I found it, but forgot how to use it. You had to go into the .exe and replace a line or some such baloney (bologna?).

Thanks for this tool!

A rotate script maker? Can you elaborate on that? What does it DO exactly?

If it does what I think it does (=> enabling models to rotate using a script), could you write a more intuitive scripter than BehaveEd?

Basically, it automatically makes scripts for swinging doors etc.. Like the doors on juggers arctic..

You can always link any (misc_)model to a func_brush to make it do whatever the brush does..

I'm using your tools and stealing your maps. o,o

Anyways, these are pretty cool! :)
I like the decompiler because it makes it so much easier to see how to use functions and such.
