There was a guy I won't name him, but he was tapping crouching very fast as a sith at point blank range, I unloaded more then half a clip of e-11 on him and he didn't stagger and die.
His saber kept flicking off to the side like when you get close to a enemy and don't want to stab them.

I accused him of cheating and he replied "Cry more" there is no way even with deflect 3 to last that long before your FP drains. :|

HMMM...I want to investigae this. What u mentioned about his saber moving when you get close is known as "nudge." I thought that was removed for gunner combat by the devs though? I'm gonna try this ingame and get back to you with what i have seen.

Deflect 3 doesent affect the force drain.

nudge is in the game, but it doesn't affect saber vs gunner combat in terms of deflecting

apparently it does prevent saber swings from starting, but i'm pretty sure it doesn't stop them if they're already swinging like they used to

Slightly off topic but is something being done about nudge?

I really would like someone to investigate this, I don't want a infinite deflect bug. T_T
It was like tapping crouch while nudging, I think he didn't have any fp but the nudging animation somehow stopped him from being shot, he waited until I reloaded/stopped firing and chopped me, he didn't this twice.

Of course it could just my assumtion it was a bug, can a sith take so many E-11 shots?

Are you sure he wasn't doing the low FP animation?

Shouldn't he have died if that was the case?

It takes more than half of an E-11 clip to drain a Sith IDR (In Drain Range. It's an invisible band around a saberist, about the size of push's range, where FP drains are much higher.) It takes about 2/3rds-4/5ths, depending on aim. So, what you need to do is fire 1/4th-1/2 of a clip and then reload at least 7-10 feet away. Any closer and you risk getting sliced during the reload.

(On a side note: I still feel dirty calling it a "clip." It's neither a clip, nor a mag. It's a power cell, or battery pack.)

Ah, that's really interesting, Andrew. I never knew that.
Any other handy tips for draining FP? Invisible barriers and what not? :P

If you feel like being risky, get close and dodge and shoot the sith while he swings. Takes force out faster and kills him quick.

This topic serves as a warning, explain the bug in the topic name *sigh*

I knew about the larger FP drain range (Amazing what you can learn with a LAN connection and a brother playing with you). I guess E-11 has one of the lowest drains in the game then. Other rapid firing weapons like it drained much faster.

I really want the Wiki updated with weapon FP drains and damages. :(

I have seen jedi\sith go for quite a while without dieing while staggering.

I see this more as a failure more than a bug, how do you expect it to be fixed if no one really knows what happened?

Yeah this is aim issues, not a bug.
