Saw it last night, and wow, I expected it to be good, but this was incredible. My friend's quote sums it up "Soooo, it was a movie about nothing?" Lots of swearing, and a few Holy Crap did that just happen? Moments.

Pretty much all of the good parts of the movie were in the movie trailer. The rest was pure crap. =/

Thing about Coen Brother movies is that theres not much of a real middle ground either you hated it because you don't really relate to it, didn't get the joke, or don't have a dark sense of humor or you found it pretty damn funny.

It started off funny, but then it put on its serious face for the ending. I was kind of expecting something like Shaun of the Dead/Hot Fuzz.

how'd it suck?
How'd it not?
The only good parts were the ones with Brad Pit, occasionally the ones with George Clooney, and the end scene.

I think past was expecting it to be like an ace ventura movie or something with less depth.

American movies... Bunch of BS to be honest..Nothing too big is coming out..
Although Dark Knight was epic..and Pineapple Express was mildly funny.

Your saying American movies are "BS," I'm assuming your talking about the commercialized ones but you mentioned how you love batman which happens to have a franchise bigger then Ron Jeremie's schlong. Also US is the only country with a place like Hollywood dedicated to the production of movies, which does to tend water down plots a lot but many great movies do come out of it, much like Foreign movies, they go for that "independent film" look but sometimes over do it making the movie seem full of it self, trying to sell it's deeper meaning like Pepsi trying to advertise it self in a crack house.

Hollywood has produced a lot of bad movies and a lot of good movies. There's a reason people like Alfred Hitchcock and Ang Li leave their home countries to make movies in California, and it's not just the weather. :cool:

I think I'm going to see Burn this weekend.
After Eagle Eye, of course. D;
