Mkay, I was playing on AOD yesterday and I was a manda. I flew way out of range of Thor who was the Jedi, and he got a 5 foot extendo on me... We both were pretty Wtf'd as we both knew I was away from his swing. :\
it was most likely lag (server or client side, who knows)
No clue. It is AOD, and I do average 100 ping on every American based server, but he even admitted that it really shouldn't have hit. :\
MB2 doesn't have hitboxes anymore :) (or at least not traditional hitboxes...)
The smoke from the jetpack is part of your body.

Vertical hitbox detection has always been WAY wackier than side to side... top that off with a bit of serverside lag, lightly sprinkled with your own clientside shenanigans and you have a recipe for bull****
Goose, there are no hitboxes! It is all done by model collision (g2 traces, same difference). However, lag could have been a factor.
