So it's been out a day or two now, anyone played it yet? Fairly excited for it, my buddies got it, so I figure I'll get to play it in the next few days.
Psyched for Battery, Ace of Spades, and Down with a Sickness.

There's a second one?

Waste of money.

Guitar Hero: On Tour will have an additional touch sensitive fret board on the guitar that you can just slide for fingers along for beastly solos, drums and an microphone, so all you Rock Band fan boys can suck it.

I'm a bigger fan of guitar hero than rock band. and if rock band 2 is anything like 1 then I will probably get bored quick unless it's with a group of people.

On Tour was for the DS. I think you mean WORLD Tour.

And it's certainly not looking to be very good. I like how when one person fails the song ends, no saving, you have to restart. And their "innovative" song creator... too bad people have been making custom charts for years.

I'm sorry, but to me that seems a retarded waste of money. Kinda like the RB special fx package.

Rock band had all those things a year ago..... Way to stay behind the curve.

Rock band 2 will also allow you to import all your songs from rock band 1, so you don't have to constantly switch games to play the song you want. Rock band 2 pretty much > Guitar Hero World Tour, in almost every respect.

My only gripe, it won't be on ps3 until novemeber.

Well, it doesn't have the sliding pad on the guitar, but what's up with that anyway? Woo guys, let's move even further from real guitar mechanics, and finger our small plastic toys!

Not to mention that the drums in RB were made of epic fail. It looks like that RB2 may be better, but I still prefer flash flash revolution.

as long as they aren't super loud like the first set, then I'm fine with it.

I don't understand why they made the guitar strumming quiet, but didn't attempt to make the drums quiet o_O

Personally I liked the loud drums, easier to keep a beat, but admittedly, bad at night.

Rock Band is too easy on guitar.

No, guitar hero is just unreasonably hard. They make you play other instruments and notes that aren't even there on expert. Rock Band is challenging but fun, it never becomes a chore to try and beat a song unlike Guitar Hero.

i find guitar hero wayyy easier/fun for guitar. the hammer ons/pull offs on rock band are pretty crappy tbh.
