I'm noticing that in RC2/3 that you can hit someone with a saber clearly in the front and they will insta-die with full BP more frequently than in RC1. Both people in the duel see it clearly hit the front.

I've seen it several times.

In fact yesterday I got one-hitted on the first swing and I was like WHAT THE HECK

Bring back RC1 saber system.

I have randomly cut one guy's leg, while he was blocking and he claimed to have bp. To make it more weird, he died AFTER i have finished swung (though this may just be caused by lag).

"A swing to my enemy's front-section brought them down with surprising ease. . . All the more disturbing, was that they stood back up a moment later, and seemed to suffer from another swing I did not deal; falling back. Dead. Again."

Epic. You should be a writer.

"I do not recall that as being the case; nor were they so bold as to taunt or flourish their weapon against me during our brief encounter -- however unlikely of a Sith to do so. Perhaps I should meditate on this matter. . ."

Are you running at all? What stance are you being hit with?

Pausing a moment, the man who's name was only presumed to be Cyvan Erra pondered on the key events that occurred roughly half-a-day ago. Like vivid visions passed on by the force, he recollects the images that wash over him and relive the moments as best he could in this trance-like state.

"My blade was brought down as I was leaving a pelting run towards my opponent; clashing downwards in a nearly forty-five angle to my left -- a sturdy, if not somewhat predictable opening movement. However, as the blades clashed together in a hiss of fierce energy I found my opponent staggering backwards and collapsing to the floor. As I halted and looked on, it replayed itself as if by some holoprojection. Or perhaps by the force itself? Regardless, the spectacle left me rather bewildered as to what happened, and with uncertainty, I allowed my lightsaber to crackle and dissipate back into its solemn slumber. Within the chrome cylinder that was a Jedi's tool. My lightsaber.

This was indeed, an odd display."

The only time I have seen something like that is when spectating, and I switch to someone near a fresh body. Sometimes the death animation replays.

I've seen that from b18 when I joined, I very much doubt it's that.

Happens toi me all the time, though, prolly half the time it's because I suck at sabers. The other half is OMG OP OP OP BUG!!

Is it vivid or is it vague? Who knows? Who cares? Am I trying too hard? Too technical?
No, not me. Perhaps...someone else?

I've seen a lot of normal hits go through full bp. I assume its the hit detection. The saber system is flawed in rc2/3/3.1/etc.,. Much like the time duals were 1 hit kills in b18...and of course b19, loved the stab down. Too bad no one actually uses it now.
