Sometimes, i play, everything alright..

Then, suddenly, the game freeze, there is a sound bug, like a noise that repeat.
After that, i can't do enything, even ESC or open the console and i have to force quit, i've try all those tips like removing holster, put efx off, ...

Still crashing... Oh yeah, i'm using a Mac.

Happened once to me too! Game freezed and the sound was repeating constantly. Had to restart ma pc. Havent noticed that in other builds. I think RC2 is the worst build ever..

i only get in on Deathstar, Rarely, but i used to get it any time at any place on my old pc.

I got it on Dotf right when a hero sniped the last imp(deka). And was playing only a few rounds.

its a pc freeze, its happened to me alot in the past, all i had to do was hoover out all of the Dust from my PC tower. And its been fine since, if it crashes again (usualy 4-5 months after hoovering) then i just hoover it again.
Mayb RC2 is just pushing your PCs to its Graphical / Processing Boundaries ;/ - USE THE HOOVA

and you've definitely turned off eax sound? it sometimes seems to reset itself, could you check it's still off?

if i turn eax off, actually it crash the game, i mean it quit and it say "Jedi Academy MP unexpectly quit blablabla"

I got it 3 times today entering the server, doing nothing specific, jka crash, did it twice more, gave up.

Theres A deka bug, hopefully fixed in the patch

Whoops. Add these to the list of fixes. All servers should update. The client update is optional, but could improve your FPS.

Fixed the Deka crash bug


It says it fixes it in the RC3.1 patch.

well i got in right now on RC3.1 client, but RC3 server i think, or maybe i didnt install correctly, on a Mac, what u have to do is only take all the files from the update and place it on the MBII server, so the files will replace the old ones?

So? no one know how i could fix the bug?

eax off dont help me, it crash the game if i turn it off...
