Basically mirc doesnt like my computer any more and all the other irc clients i've tried are pants. If you've got any suggestions for not very resource hungry irc clients please post them here and i'll do a private dance for the bestest suggestion provider :confused:

mirc doesnt take up much resources does it? compared to 32,000k from firefox, 7000k from mirc doesnt seem so bad at all does it. although im using NoNameScript with it

*shrug* come back to irc, frog misses you

use mIRC with NNscript. You can download both from www.nnscript.de.

No doubt the best IRC client. :D

What do you mean it dosen't like your computer? Simply refuses to work?
Try Trillian or Chatzilla.

Never knew Computers had human insight too, they surely know who to pick on ^,^

Little more info would be usefull Partypooper. I used to be a irc administrator on a browsergame, but that's a long time ago in my nerdy days (cough coming from a seventeen year old dude doesn't sound that impressive :( )

NNNEEERRRDDD! :p

basically i dont think its anything more than my motherboard being knackered and it being picky over what programs it will run happily. I'll try the suggested progs and let you know how it turns out!!

I suggest Chatzilla - flexible, easy and looks good.
