Demos

Well, I can't open demos from RC1 in RC2, and though I understand why, I don't really understand the reasoning for them not opening, other then new additions. Everytime I try I get the cl_packets error that you would normally get if you try loading up MBII with Base or JA+ which is kind of weird. So yea, dunno, just thought this would be helpful. :\

if you have your RC1 folder, you can try running it with that.

it's just that demo's aren't video files, they're action and event tracings based on data.. for instance, you could have a replacement change how someone looks in a demo since the demo only recorded what the player model's name at the time was, as opposed to it taking note of how the model actually looked at the time of recording...

just run the demo through RC1 >_>
