I was wondering how I would go about modifying the .vehs for Dekas for use in an FA. The problem isn't so much as editing the .veh, it's working out which one to edit. I've opened up the MBAssets.pk3, but there are several Droideka .vehs, and I have no idea which one/s I should use.

Say, for example, I wanted to increase the turning speed of a 222 1 1 Deka and make its shields active when rolling, which .veh do I edit? Or is it more complicated than that?

Basically.. the .vehs are just for the different types of dekas in open afaik..
But you might wanna ask the coders on this one..

You should check out the mapping wiki though.. the answer might be there..

Make it 23210 for more turn rate rofl.

Upon investigation of the .veh files, it appears they only define shield and hull strength. Nothing is different about firepower. My guess is you don't have to define a special .veh for non-open combination.

If you want to do special things with it, make your own.

I was thinking that;

Why would you care which is which?
All you need is one, rename it, then edit how you want it. You silly gooses.
