I, like many other players no doubt, have wanted to try making a MB2 map.

I was wondering if the modders and existing mappers had any information and/or tips on how to place things like the guardable Jabba and other MB2 specific ideas/rules regarding mapping.

I have been thinking exactly the same thing Fox. :D
I can already map, but i would need guidance on how to include MB secific items (objectives, people to rescue, targets etc...)

Perhaps, if someone can shed some light on these things, we could put our efforts together to build a map?

Nice one,

I'm not sure, but i think those are made like objectives in normal siege maps, if that's of any help...

There is some info in an old thread on this. Check here:
http://forums.moviebattles.com/showthread.php?t=131

As far as an 'official' MB map making intruction set, we are not gonna release that until we have the offical MB map spec decided - we are still deciding on some details like (semi)authentic modes etc. and we dont' wanna give out a definitive guide until these issues are decided.

But the thread I just linked to should give you enough to get started..

I have 2 maps in my mind, I'm not gonna map them, but I can't give my information to anyone who wants to try, just ask,; it's about the last star fight in ep 6, and the end fight of ep 1 .

try making a decent small duel map or something
