I installed GTK 1.5, but for some reason there are a few random textures that are missing from my Texture Browser... For example, most of my systems textures are missing completely, including caulk. [Really bad, i refuse to do anything until i get all of my systems]

I don't really know why.

I don't think i had this problem with 1.4.0, which is why i'm installing that one now to check.

It doesn't have that problem with 1.4.0, only 1.5. I'll pratice with 1.4 for now, but i'd like to use 1.5 in the future.

Nevermind.... as soon as 1.4 was installed, 1.5 started showing the textures.

i get that too, but only because in assest1.pk3 in base, the system textures are missing :P

so i dl new_system, and in my textures folder in base, i copy/paste the textures from there into a folder called system, which makes them appear magically :P

conveniently for you ipod, new_system happens to be on the cmp svn ;)

I'm also wondering, for some reason i remember in 1.4 being able to hold down right click and move around my map up and down if i wanted to, [just like a spectator in mb2] But i can't do this in 1.5, i can move left and right, forward and back, but not up, and i can't change my angle by looking down and moving backwards.

right click once to go into the ''spectator mode'' and press it again to exit

AH! thankyou, i get it. i was holding down right click, and i was sort of caught between spectator mode and not in spectator mode.

1.4 has all the jka stuff packaged with it, 1.5 doesn't.

I would advise you to extract all of the assets files from the assets pk3 files and keep everything unpackaged in your base folder for ease of use.( you still need the .pk3 files though)

I'm having the same problem, textures are missing. I tried extracting the assets pk3s but that didn't work... it still can't find missing textures, halp plox. And if installing gtkradiant 1.4 solved the problem, where could I get it? Didn't see it at their website.

Okay, I downloaded, installed it correctly, all textures seem to be in place, but I still can't make light sources, halp. Whenever I make a light, this comes in the log: Doom3LightRadius: failed to parse default light radius. I have no idea what that means.
