next question :) lol
how does one create circular room? i know it includes something to do with inverted bevel, but every time i select that endcap, and then create it, i can never see the inner surface of the bevel..
again, thanks for all the help in advance.
first of all you can change the visible surface of the patch (bevel / end cap / w.e) by using the invert tool (CTRL + I) select the one you want and voila.
but for a cirular room, i guess the simplest way for you would be to make a cylinder (the walls) then stick a cap on it (floor and ceiling) :P
although if your using 1.4 im sure there is no 'cylinder' cap to choose from. so just use 1.5 xd
edit: you dont need a different thread for every question you may have, just post into one of your older ones. they get the same amount of attention.

edit: and i'm using 1.5 so i have cylinder tool
nah 1.4 has cylinder tool too, but im almost sure you cant just pop a cap onto them in 1.4.
nvm your using 1., carry on young sir :D

1.4 Does have cylinder caps - it just doesn't give you options when you do it. IE - It realizes you have a cylinder selected, and just gives it a cylinder cap when you use the cap command, as opposed to 1.5 which asks you for some strange reason.
At any rate, I'd actually recommend NOT using a cylinder to make a round room... assuming that you are going to want to add another room to it at some point. If it's a single room, fine, go ahead. Multiple rooms, though... no. I'd recommend either four bevels or two endcaps... and put a section of flat wall between them where you can build in a door, hallway or what not. It means the room won't be fully circular, but the overall effect works in much the same way, so you lose nothing by doing it.

im taking frog's advice and posting here..
so i've figured out the bevels and cylinders, that is with your gracious assistance, but i cant seem to curve a cylinder. (as in a u-shaped pipe)
thanks again
edit: also, when i format the map for game play and configure my pk3 file, the game says this:
"
SV_SetBrushModel: Null
"
and refuses to load the map.. any way to fix?
