What exactly does super push do? I tried it before(Not sure if i did it right) but it was like the normal push. :s

In RC1, it just pushes people farther than normal. Not really good for anything but ego points if you manage to fling someone off a cliff with it or something that you normally wouldn't be able to reach with a regular Push.
In RC2, you can injure/kill people you SuperPush when they hit something while flying through the air. If you happen to SuperPush one player into another as well, you'll also generally knock the second player flying and damage them both. (Can lead to amusing chain reactions of people crashing into each other.)

Practice up, melee Jedi. :P

(Technical note, those damage/knockdown effects aren't specific to SuperPush, they're keyed off of player velocity and knockdown status. (If you're moving at a high velocity while knocked down, they'll trigger if you hit something/someone.) So you'll theoretically be able to nade one person into a group of others and knock them all down, if the naded player achieves a high enough velocity. Sort've a poor man's physics. Not all that many things are able to crank a player's velocity up high enough to do this, outside of SuperPush though.)

Yes, this means in RC2 or RC3(Not done yet.) you'll likely be able to smash people into walls using Grip 3.

I dont know if this is NDA worth but during a beta session I kept pwning Azu by doing this.
Also, when Veshzan rolled into Plasma and I pushed him, it killed Plasma.

Thats how cool push and Super push is going to be.

On the subject at hand, how hard do you have to be pushing the enemy in order to have them knock down other players that they hit? Does this only work with Push 3 and Super-Push? Or would Push 2 result in things like this as well?

The whole thing with Plasma and Vesh was weird though, I dont think it should kill the person who got pushed into.

It should in the right situations. 180 - 200lbs of person flying into you could easily cause a lot of damage. Now talk about 300 - 400lbs of wookiee slamming into you... THAT'S not something you're gonna walk away from.

Unless the team puts weights on classes (Not the slowing down kind, just invisible weight of the certain type) then it might be possible to calculate damage.

Demo;
A = Jedi = 40 damage + 25% random
B = Soldier = 30 damage + 25% random
C = Elite Trooper = 40 damage + 25% random

A successfully pushes B into C doing 46 damage to C and 32 damage to B.

This reminds me of something I used to try a lot. Will dead bodies be able to knock people over, too? I've always enjoyed a good soldier suicide explosion, and I often find myself trying to make my body hit enemies.

This reminds me of something I used to try a lot. Will dead bodies be able to knock people over, too? I've always enjoyed a good soldier suicide explosion, and I often find myself trying to make my body hit enemies.

I wholeheartedly support both of these ideas.

Same here. What about wookiees and people with Force Block? I kinda like being forcer Jedi/Sith but I only do it for fun and they only seem useful if the entire enemy team is composed of clones, soldiers, and ets in a small area.

It would just seem classic to see a bunch of ARC or Storm Tropers trip over eachother after being pushed.

It should be two-handed, strong push wich would knock down even standing or walking gunners and damaging them (its idea from Force Unleashed)
So I think it would be a lot of fun to use it :D

2. stand still
3. hold and charge push
4. release it
5. feel the true power of the force ;P

of course it won't be so overpowered, cuz you will be defensless and easy target for gunnes (standing still with saber turned off)

(you need force push,pull,block on level 3 to use it)

I think game engine won't allow force repulse, cuz of weak physics, but it would be cool to use two handed super push (my idea ;P)

That doesn't make any sense. A Jedi would have less equipment, and therefore, less weight than a soldier...

And Porkins should be 9001 damage.

This isn't Force Unleashed Battles 2, it won't behave exactly, nor will every element of FU be put in.

We had a skin, but it was terrible.
Lightsaber? You mean a new hilt? If any modeler is willing, sure, why not?
Super push is getting changed and has changed for RC2, its alot more powerful and is very useful against enemy jedi during an attack. On the minus side of it, Sith can buy Lightning 3, push 3 and pull 3 because its to many points! (You can, but ill-advised), Jedi seem to have an upper hand at the current fix.

lol... so you don't need to hold right mouse button to defend/deflect anymore?

so when no blocking, you would hold your saber on the back, but when defend pressed and holded you would simple turn into defence position.


p.s new moves would be cool :P

edit: yes, this isn't force unleashed battles 2, but wtf where did super push idea come from????

well it doesn't have to be Q3... maybe onother system of blocking for this style or something, like holding right mouse button and deflecting/blocking only when direct shot/attack is coming at you.... but Q3 would be realistic as hell :D

I think by this time they're well aware of the name of the mod. If you absolutely must have 100% complete authenticity with the movies, then why don't you just go watch them? That's the only way you're going to see genuine "movie battles". The only time I'm inclined to agree with the full authenticity is in Full Authentic mode.

this already happens. in rc1 people who are exploded high enough into the air can be killed by being ''thrown to their doom''

so in rc2 i guess if you're thrown by explosion, and happen to slam right into another person, then sure you will hurt him/yourself :P

I rarely or in fact can't say I have ever seen anyone die to a person falling from an explosion on to another person, I think it would be more common of a sight when it comes to knocking into each other how ever.
