Trueview, First Person, or Third person?

This is just a simple survey, vote on the poll, and post about your views if you want to.

For me? I've gone back and forth from trueview to third person ever since it was first introduced in Build 18. Unless it's the E-11, I use trueview for all other weapons, in the case of the E-11 I go to normal first person. I don't know why I do it to be honest, I guess it's something different and fun.

I won't really make a mention of third person perspective since I rarely ever use it.

I use third person, but on certain occasions requiring extra aim I go into first, which is conveniently binded to button 2

Third, I don't really enjoy playing in first person without seeing the players hands but I can't say I like Trueview because the weapons are rarely in a position where you see them properly.

depending on what i'm doing, i'll switch between third and trueview for pistol classes.. first for rifles etc. since they screw up the view quite a bit.

i use more third person though.

I use trueview when Im trying to aim down and my model is in the way, otherwise third person is the way to go. It gives an advantage of being able to see more and I like seeing the model I use.

Wow, I'm all alone on this one I guess, I only know of two other people who use trueview, and one of them doesn't play anymore.

I use firstperson with helment view(I wish they'd make it better. Meh.) I only use 3rd if im taking screenshots.(Not even if Im a jedi. 1st person sabering ftw!)

I use first person at almost all times as a gunner, though it depends on the sort of build I'm using. I'll switch to third when using cover and such on occasion, as it's often hard to tell whether I'm enemy fire or not in first. As Stun said, I never use trueview with E-11 due to it being in the way, but I love playing Jack Bauer Trueview Pistol 3 Hero Character Shield Bindspam Spam. I don't use trueview too often as a Jedi/Sith anymore due to the whole "I don't have defense" thing, as third person is pretty much a requirement for me when it comes to ninja'ing or barbarianing, though trueview KARUNGAH kills may very wel be the greatest thing in gaming history.

Whatever the case, first person is and probably always will be my view of choice, but third person is a necessary evil, and trueview, though not perfect, makes for some awesome combat.

I use true view most the time, even occasionally when sabering. I usually use 3rd person for wookiees and SBDs because they are both so awkward in true view and 1st person. I think it would be nice if there was a ''semi true view'' where the gun is the same but the only thing you could see is your torso and legs or maybe a version where you cant see your head but you could see your legs and true view gun.

I'm not a fan of those animations, to be honest. Degas himself even said they weren't quality. I used them for a little while but I couldn't take it. Sorry Degas.

I primarily use first-person since I usually play ARC, but when I switch over to Jedi I play in third-person.

I tried trueview two or three times but each time I started to feel sick.

Do you use some sort of animation mod (aside from Degas' old anims) for that? I can't see how anyone can use E-11 in trueview due to the way it takes up the screen. Same thing happens with a few other weapons, obviously, but it seems particularly problematic with Easy-Livin'.

As for me, I love third person just cause the first person shooters came out before the third person shooters , so i got sick of first person + i love third person cause u can see around corners while hiding, hell sometimes i even dream in third person instead of first lol...

I always figured /cg_drawgun was for first person only and had no effect on third person or trueview. I'll give it a shot, I guess.

Trueview all the way. Especially as Darth Vader... (Yes, I admit most of my kills when doing this are complete luck, but it's still fun as hell.) Trueview just adds so much more atmosphere when playing and makes it so much more suspenseful.

One thing I miss when in regular first person mode compared to trueview. Seeing your body and camera move, when you're pushed or blown away. It's funny seeing yourself laying there helplessly standing up, while in regular first person the gun disappears and only the camera moves. :( Is there a way to get best of both worlds?
