yo since theres 2 clans (CC , I,Jedi) already
i was wondering if any1 would group up with me and make our own team
i am prepared and got a site and a forum for it
as the name says it is gonne be a gun based team (tho we will play with sabers also )
and to make it clear i dont want to be the leader of it , i founded it bcs i like to be a part of it :p
so im looking for ppl to join and when we got 4 or 5 ppl we can make up plans for recruiting, make a code and stuff

the site is kinda plain tho its a start

check it out http://www.mbgs.tk

ps: dont hesitate to post a comment on the forum

I'm a simpisiter to. I'd like a gunner clan. But I haven't been given any good resons for joining a clan when i'm asked. Because I just don't see the point. But if I get some good points for joining a clan i might?

well i didnt say CLAN with a purpose
there will be no leader and and no ranks , just a TEAM of ppl that play (mostly) guns together.
and the site and forum r there to check whats new and stuff , and to comunicate , discuss tactics etc....

so we basicly know what the other will do , react etc (minimalize TK)

meaning what? i don't see what everyone has against I,Jedi..

Meaning it's more like following the same "ruleset" than being in a clan. (at least that's what i think he means :P)

Of course from what Tom says it looks like a place to discuss gunning strategy more than anything else, and to help teamwork between gunners. (which is a good thing imo)

meaning what? i don't see what everyone has against I,Jedi..

They make up rules that they expect everyone to adhere to.. slag people off if they "break" them... and half the time don't adhere to said rules themselves.

I'm constantly told by i,jedi minions not to double team jedi.. yet often find myself double teamed by i,jedi...

They also moan about the use of push, yet use it often themselves..

I dont mind someone coming up with rules by which they like to play.. all power to them, but they shouldnt enforce them on other people, especially when they themselves can't be bothered sticking to them, its hypocritical.

Yeah, I was playing as a mandalorian on Tantive, and this [I,jedi] idiot Dek attacks me as a jedi....pushpushpushpushpush, i let loose with a rocket, raping his health then retreat to where the rest of my team are and we take him out together as a team easy.

Then the guy starts slagging me off about how much of a coward and **** mandalorian i am (Remember this is the Tantive map, a CLOSED area map) just because i simply used my head. He also started to whine when i joined in on the duels as a bounty hunter, running in blasting him and distracting him for others to kill his arse. The guy then came over to my team to 'prove' how the jedi and mandalorian classes were the same...........the guy never got one kill :p

Whenever you see the idiots in I,jedi (some of them are ok). Once you kill them, quickly run over to their fresh, pure, untainted jedi corpse - look at their arse with your crosshire, then push the crouch button rapidly! - VIOLATED :p

This is getting a little out of hand.

Anyway, I have said before in the thread that it was a nice idea of banding together and working as a team. The idea os setting up [I]guidelines to play along with was and still is a dangerous rule as not that many can abide them if the other players aren't supposed (and they shouldn't). I do hope their "leader" will make work of this as this s apparantly getting out of hand.

Now I will stress once again, that Pushing opponents down is a valid tactic. The only thing we will be changing is that gunners will have more of a chance of gunning down their opponents, with actually using their gun more. We forsee a slight increase in gunners becuase of this, but only the skilled or willing will maintain jedi-ness.

Using a thermal / Rocket / Force Powers / gun is all valid and not considered spamming, as it's all part of the gamemechanic.

I never said pushing wasn't a valid tactic - But don't expect a mandalorian to just stand there and let you do it to him. Retreating is one of the few things that can actually save your life when fighting a pushwhor...i mean jedi :), the chances of ANYONE without a saber surviving a close encounter with a Jedi is extremely slim anyway.

I'm all for pushing :) Its a valid part of the game, and not using it makes a jedi weak against half decent gunners.

I just think if i,jedi are gonna pushspam, then they shouldnt abuse other people for doing the exact same thing really.

I m all for pushing, pulling, thermaling, rocketing, flaming, sniping, bowcastering and well you get the idea ;)

btw, try to be nice between "groups" and individuals. I mean, when clans-squad-whatever begin to be closed worlds and only competitive and their members begin to speak like "omg that xxxxxxx clan member sucks and he has no honor omg omg" (this is irony!) ... Well, at this point clans begin to be more a obstacle than a good idea.

I mostly agree with acid post btw. And Dacks thought about guidelines is a good point too.

I'm with sais, spam everything spammable and see the balance in effect!

Why so many complaints about spamming when everybody has something to spam?
