A few of the mb2 team members are on it, but it's NOT the entire team. There are a lot of people from cmp and outsiders working on it.

IT ISN'T MB3, also. I doubt we'd ever make one - most of the team would likely never work on a Star Wars mod again. We'd probably do an original IP. But that's just my opinion.

oh I see, cool I want to get this but I dont have half-life 2 but I will buy it I am not sure on what one I need? Would I just need episode 1 or 2 aswell? Do I also need to understand the way Half-Life 2 works?

You do know that the majority of the mb2 community aren't even idiots. The majority of the mb2 community are the people who keep their mouths shut on the forums and even ingame. The loud ones are always the more noticeable and that may create the illusion of a majority.

Later on, a Team Assault mode will come that will bring some resemblance to our mod but it's not got anything to do with us, cept with what Cid88 stated: Some members from the current MBII Team are also working there.

If in TNE will not be pure team fights and objectives to do, its still will be *SW movie-realsitic hardcore multiplayer mod* which is MB2 . It will have slight gameplay dfferences i think, but main part will be the same, because there is classes too, as long as i remember :rolleyes:

You seriosly hope that the community won't be the same even though there's a horde of "Ahmagad it can't run on my system!" "Will HL2 run on my system?!" -people on TNE and MBII communities. Don't even dream. The TNE community is bound to be WORSE than MBII's. Especially compared to MBII's start.

I find that sci-fi games (and mods) attract rule obsessed retards. In baseJKA and especially JA+ all servers are filled with ridiculous rules and admin abusers. It was exactly the same in Freelancer multiplayer (a space fighter game.) Where the servers decided to make safe zones and rules similiar to HONORZ in baseJKA/JA+.

Pirate mods have the most fun community thusfar, no rules, admin abuse or whining. :p

God, I hated that situation. This is what made me stop playing on saber only servers. However, I found the MB2 community very refreshing, as it appeared to me the way it should be: Chat bubble? -> free kill.
