RC1's anti-cheat just Fail. i demand u peeps to remove it.
Take a look at this. i snapped some peeps glitchin or wall hackin out of the map in starforge. Believe if urself now.

Like V4.0 said, it's a map bug - nothing to do with 'cheats'.
you sir fail hard. you can't tell if people are using wallhacks by spectating them. it's simply a map glitch, which now you have pointed out, will be fixed (if it hasn't already)

The Anti hack program doesnt protect against:
- Bad mapping
- Servers that have enabled JKA cheats so you can use npc spawn commands and noclip

Shadriss stands informed. I'm curious where he pulled it off from - I had clip brushes all over the place in that map to prevent this... more info on the location of where he did the out-of-map trick would be appriciated.
Did he use the get-into-a-patch glitch? You know...when you're underneath a patch.....
Aside from the obvious already stated, I love this guy's logic that because a "possible" work around to the cheat system was found he demands it removed?

Those KOTOR maps are weird anyway. There's no forcefield or glass that prevents people from being sucked into the space (just like in mb2_destroyer in the Tie hangar).

So whats the difference between Deathstar's not clearly seen forcefields and Ravager's not clearly seen forcefields ?
In the KOTOR maps there is no forcefield. Not even invisible walls. The mapper simply put a trigger death in case you "fall" into space.
That's why I also talked about the Tie hangar in mb2_destroyer. Same issue.
There should be at least an invisible wall.

Hmm yeah, you're probably right. Developers should stop caring about physics in games. Why do every game (including the Jedi Knight series) taking place in spaceships and space stations have forcefields. The forcefields and windows on Lunarbase should be removed, it's just a game after all. Not a movie.
Those were just examples.

Anyway, I was just sharing my thoughts about something that could be easily fixed. I'm helping the mappers giving them feedback. There's no such thing as too much feedback.

There IS a reason for that you know? Revan has breakable glass that sucks you out and kills you. Then the Ravager is being held together by the force by Darth Nihilus. There is no forcefields, glass, or anything. Its just atmosphere being held together by the force. All of those goodies have been destroyed in war. That is why, when you go outside the ships bounds the force no longer protects you and doesn't allow any atmosphere to stay in that area to survive... So you die when you go past the bounds.

Well yesterday I have seen mega-hax or mega bug - Flying Sith !
Look at the time, it was not a noclip - cheats was off, also when i push Palp down he fall normally meeting my saber .

Fly bug was and will always be here.
The mb2 team always try and fix it but all they do is shuffle the code around and go "zomg fixed". when its really not.
I've been told Squig knew how to fix it but you refused him entry :|

Oh yeah you can obviously know a fix to a problem which only exists in a single mod where you can't differ normal code from an exception on some other code..

It was German server, (((((({IS}-Server(85.131.195.71:7010) if i recall it right .
This bug was used by 2 german palyers, I'm 100% sure .

I believe its a known bug, and has nothing to do with the server itself. I've seen others do it myself and have been able to reproduce it. It requires a little team work, which is why it isnt seen that much.

There in the future? Possibly not... I'm hearing rumblings of a new way of fixing this issue that may eliminate it completely. Still in testing.

The current fix, on the other hand, was a result of finding some insanely stupid code from BaseJKA, and removing it.
Since the bug was from BaseJKA code which is publicly available, you could find out how to fix it, actually.
