Was goofing off on Chosen last night, and came upon a rather.. uhh, "interesting" play style. I think it's fair so say that this isn't quite as effective as the Barbarian method, though it probably outdoes melee'ing in some cases.
Pretty much, I restricted myself to using only my mouse and one mouse button to play the game. I bound Mouse1 to "+forward; +attack", and proceeded to run around shooting my Pistol 1 nonstop in hopes of getting some kills. I did get a few, and decided I'd share the concept with the rest of you. I also tried some two- and three-button schemes (mouse2 for +moveup, mouse3 for +movedown, etc.), though ultimately, the one-button method was the funniest and most interesting.
I've begun to consider some more complex one-button bindings, using the "wait" command. You could, for example, have a proj-rifle build that would cause you to strafe left, switch to scope, fire, strafe right, and reload. Or you could try an E-11 build with which you move forward constantly with secondary fire and then reload after a certain wait period. And even the "+forward; +attack" bind is perfect for the classic blue-stance downward-slash noob-rush from base JK2/JKA, and would work particularly well with Q3. And of course, don't forget that you can switch "Always Run" on or off depending on how many Jedi/Sith you're up against.
Anyhow, yeah, this is a completely stupid way to play, but it's actually pretty funny to watch, and as with some of the other more interesting play styles, it feels particularly rewarding when you manage a kill.
