Nah the lightside powers were where it was at, absorb was like the best because the darkies couldn't do anything to you really, when they spammed lightning or destruction or grip you just got a load of forcepower, absorb in the new games just can't compare to absorb in DF2 lol, it made a cool sound too. It also helped against those dang uber haxors, all they had to do was grip you once and you got all your forcepower back :P man I LOVE that absorb lol.
