As some people may know, I'm personally rather fond of the Aliens universe. Since Plasma's creation of an FA Aliens map in the Movie Game Map Pack (http://www.moviebattles.com/files_addons), I've been rather ecstatic about it. So much so, that a fair few new features have been slipped into MBII to support it better. (Naturally, they'll all be usable in other FAs too.)
First up, we've got
Dismemberment Fragility
A classflag that lets most impacts dismember a player model. (Such as bullets.) Like so:

Related to that is,
Acid Blood
Another classflag that, when set, causes a player to poison anyone nearby when they're dismembered, automatically. (If you've got acid blood yourself, you're immune to poison.)

Something FA-lovers that enjoy "modern" weapons might like, to get away from the slow-moving Star Wars blaster bolts, might be:
Hitscan weapons with configurable tracers
Essentially, you can make most(not all) weapons hit their targets instantly, instead of firing slow-moving projectiles through the air. You can also configure the chance of a tracer graphic being drawn onscreen with each shot.
Lastly, in the Aliens-related stuff, there's now a classflag that will turn the Clone Rifle into a
Flamethrower Weapon
It's not your pansy Mandalorian-style wrist Flamethrower, nor even comparable to the Plasma Flamethrower featured in CommTower FA. This thing is meant to be comparable to the other guns of the game. It kills.

As you might've noticed in the above screenshot, and in a feature that's applicable to all FAs, as well as Open mode, we've finally figured out how to make flames linger upon someone who's been torched. Meaning, if you light that Jedi up with your wrist flamethrower, they're going to catch on fire, and burn for several seconds. (Unless they go for a swim in some nearby water, of course.)
Likewise, lava will now ignite people who touch it.
Shotgun damage has been tweaked to make it more consistent, and another, unrelated FA-only classflag has been added, CFL_INSTAGIB...which transforms the Disruptor rifle into an Isntagib Rifle that will disintegrate anyone it strikes, in a single shot. Naturally, that one's intended for FA maps that are meant to be Instagib maps, as it would be grievously unfair to use unless your opponents also had one for themselves.
Some other things are in the works in my department, but haven't been completed yet...
