I just started using gtk radiant 1.5. and am following various tutorials. I have been progressing fine until I started following Lindsey's tutorials. I realized there was a problem when I was asked to use such entities like info_player_siegeteam1. The problem is that radiant 1.5 doesn't seem to have such an entity nor any entities related to siege mapping other than a few triggers. There seems to be a number of entities missing under info and there is no "Team" entities. Might there be plugins that I must download or might there be someplace I am not looking?
Um, you have to turn on the multiplayer mapping mode.. since it defaults to SP..
Do it in File>Project Settings ;)
as yzmo says,
although if at some point you make a map for mb2, and are creating the FA, you may wish to have spawnpoints for it so you need to change the spawnpoint entites.
select a spawn point and press N. in the window that has just popped up change the name of the entity from info_player_siegeteam1 to info_player_siegeteam1_authentic
just for your future reference, check the wiki in our sigs =)

I wouldn't recommend Lindsey's tutorial for anything except for .siege files.;) If you want a GOOD mapping tutorial, use RichDiesal. It goes by JK2Radiant, but it's pretty much the same as what you're using.:)

thanks alot, I changed the setting and everything I need is present.
Yeah, I actually had planned on learning how to map for awhile but never had the time. Decided to just start and stop making excuses for myself. I have alot of interest in developing fa's and duel maps for mb2 based on events from the clone wars comics.
cool, keep us posted with any maps your developing - we love screenies! :D
Theres a Getting started thread here somewhere made by me (ego xD) which contains links to good tuts etc.. i just gotta get that thread stickied again ;)
