View Full Version : My Questions on GtkRadiant

I installed GtkRadiant 1.5 into D:/GtkRadiant. All is ok, but I have two problems.

1] I opened GtkRadiant and says: Unable to find default tag file D:/GtkRadiant/ja.game/shadertags.xml. No tag support.

2] I clicked on System shaders, but I can't see shaders like from http://redsaurus.net/mb2mapwiki/index.php/System_Shaders and GtkRadiant says

absolutely no idea, never had that problem :(

Try reinstalling ja and radiant, that's what usually helps me :P

make sure u have a file called "mapextras.pk3" in your base folder..

If not, reinstall radiant and make sure u get teh paths right ;)

I believe gtk 1.5 doesnt install the mapextras.pk3, or so was the case with me. Try installing 1.4 then using 1.5

I tried your idea UnsungHero and problem is solved :). But find 1.4 was very hard, it wasn't anywhere, but friend has it :) . Thanks UnsungHero...

Perhaps we should get that MapExtras.PK3 up somewhere for download. Since VISTA users can't use 1.4, and 1.5 doesn't include it. I would hate for a MB2 mapper to have problems like this that can't be solved because the older version can't be found anymore.

Also, I kinda need that PK3 as well. *blush*

Im a vista user and just sorta had it installed for the pk3 :/ but it seems Norman has won the thread.
