As of today, 4th of January 2008, I've been relieved of my nation's compulsory armed service.

I might have a peek for MB2 a bit.

'Nuff said.

When that time comes, I won't be at this house with parents, will be in a student flat, you can live in my cupboard.

Ouch, forced service I can see sucking. I feel like it would really take the pride and enjoyment out of the experience. I probably wouldn't be joining my own nation's military if we had that.

But anyways, welcome back TZ.

That's because the Portuguese army is po0 anyways. ^^
Plus that they're afraid you're going to code some bugs into the army.

I tell you now, if the USA did forced service there would be a great and powerful resistance.

Hmm the includes the draft too.

What country do you live in?

I personally think that military training would be a good thing, hell they DO have compulsory education in most western places... This is just education on how to kick ass.

As long as citizens aren't required to fight in a mild conflict, only to be trained, but not used.

Hmm, if any luck I'll enter service this summer. If my application to special forces doesn't go through I'll be entering early '09, which would suck 'cause then I'd have 6 months of doing pretty much nothing.
