The Team has a nice list of possible classes to shoot for, in of course a later build and when time frees up, but we would like to know what you guys can come up with.
Try to stick to at least the following guidelines:
- Represents a character or a group from the Movies
- Performs combat behaviour, which you can expand on
- Brings something new to the game
Just post whatever you guys can come up with and at least passes 2 out of 3 from the above.

Teras kasi artist. Passes 2 out of 3.
Focuses on purely melee and an uses an enhanced version of the hero dodge skill to avoid blasters and sabers. Can roll without jumping, has default lvl0 force jump.
Can buy force immunity abilities similar to wookie.
Can Possess significant health through upgrades(capable of surviving about 2 yellow saber slashes, and die on the third)
can use moves like kick and grab without having to pause in place.
Not in the movies, but certainly known of, and I think would add some nice elements.
Arc Trooper
Upgraded sniper weapon (1 shot base damage, no charge, can only be used in zoom), or dual pistols option (this is kosher, as the arc commander uses them in the cartoon, and giving the arc trooper the normal clone gun would be unconstructive)
Ion grenades, which deactivate guns, lightsabers, jetpacks and/or droids for a few seconds.
Single shot rocket, powerful but must be fired from ducking position. Works like redeemer, user piloted, but whilst in use user is completely defenseless.
Imperial assassin droid (ig-88 model)
Blast resistant armour (about 80% deflects at highest upgrade)
e11
slow moving (bit slower than mand)
Sound sensors (little "echo" effects visible through walls)
Large explosion when killed (jedi beware)

Royal Guard-

Has health of 150 [For their Lack of Lightsabre and Force]
A dodge skill [Equivilant of level 1 Hero Dodge]
Has a sword [Could find a sword model somewhere, just for the Royal Guard]
Has Level 3 saber Defence, attack and level two block.
Can have a wookiee strength type option of level two.
Heavy Soldier
Has health of 75
Cannot have reinforcements
Has one thermal
Has a more accurate blaster rifle
Has level two hero dodge
Thats all I can think of at the moment. :|
Shouldn't royal guard have a force pike?

Tusken raider
gaderffii stick (kinda replaces saber) so theres lvl1-3 for attack and defend
maybe a health upgrade as the wookie

would be same class as Tusken
but got that Halbard instead of the stick
(Royal guard (as Michael suggested)could be same class, but got a sword)
I didnt post trandoshan because the bounty hunter class will almost certainly encompass bossk.
tuskens never leave tattoine.
They've already said they dont like the gamorrean idea.

Overall I dont think new classes need to be added but add new heros that have different skills kind of like wookies. Classes need to be limited too. i.e. no more than 2 or 3 Jedi to a team. Class diversification makes this alot more fun I think. The heros I think need to be limited to one, it's not very realistic when an army of Luke Skywalkers come at you is it?
Otherwise here are 2 ideas:
1. I've read in other posts about a medic/tech character and I agree. I think Jan from regular siege mode would do nicely. She could have all the gadgets: Forcefields, the little drone things, hacking skills, and the ability to heal others... bit not Force team heal it would be more like the medic in TFC for half life.
2. YODA - I think points needed for force push/pull/seeing/block should be lower than jedi/sith and limited to one sabre. To balance this out he should walk like yoda... with a cane and like someone who is 800 years old. He though should have force speed and jump like in attack of the clones.

Yodas walking is more an act, as we see he is perfectly able to move normally, His speed should be reduced as he is quite a lot smaller than most. And about bossk, he does nnot have a concussion rifle, maybe make a tenloss disruptor pistol and his special micro grenade launcher.
Yes, adding Yoda to the Jedi Class would be awesome... :cool:

2 types of them, winged and unwinged, so indefinite flight would be nice (somthing no other class has).
Re-enforcements for sure - there were *alot* of them ;)
Then they had that globby type gun (sonic blaster) that they shot @ Anakin in the droid foundry. (very distinct sound - would be very cool ingame)
We also saw those electric pike thingies they used to 'control' the beasties in the execution arena.
I can see the class as being physically strong, but no personal shield
Geonosians are strong despite their thin builds. Their tough exoskeletons provide protection from physical impacts, and from bouts of radiation that occasionally shower their world.
you could make winged 1s slightly softer than unwinged 1s however. (or rather, make the flight skill quite expensive preventing max health skill)
The sonic blaster would be unblockable by jedi. (abit like the primary fire of the demp gun)
Some nice clicky taunts would sound good too ;)

Can get any force power but the max is lvl 2 for any power 2 reinforcements.

Along with this, how 'bout General Grievous' Magnaguards ?
But with this changes:
-Consume BP
-Jump higher than average gunners. Like ARC jumps.
-2 handed Force Pike or ElectroStaff.
-New anims (obviously) like a staff twirl that could deflect saberstrikes and/or blasterfire for a certain time.
-No great BP loss! Your attacks wouldnt be that dangerous, like need to do 3 hits to kill a person, so they should make you lose less bp in your strikes.
-You need to manually block saberstrikes... like, no defensive position! or either u block it right or u die!
-Melee move.. Kick would be cool..
-Stun a person if you manage to do a good with with ur staff.
This attributes would make a cool class ^^
Geonosians would be cool, but rebels need a flyer too.
Heres two from me, first I wanna expand on jawa's geonosian idea bit.
Geonosian: health 100 no shields (starting)
Pistol (of corse) one and two
NEW WEAPON Geonosian sonic rifle. 3 upgrades: level 1 is similiar to the t-21 level 1 primary fire shoots a powerful bolt but has a long cooldown, also it has some splash damage (less then a clone rifles but in a larger radius) cannot be fired while flying; Level 2 adds a secondary fire (not seen in the movies but so they have at least a decent attack speed) a kind of acid splash like fire, blockable by jedi but it doesn't deflect (can this even be coded?), it does less damage then an e-11 and still has a relatively long cooldown (like that of current clone alt fire) however it shoots in a spread (shotgun type shot) and each fire has a very small splash damage shootable while flying; Level 3 allows primary to be fired in flight and improoved clips size.
Health (like wookiee health maybe lower numbers)
Flight pry quite a few pts
And of corse ammo.
Anyway onto my idea, clone rocket trooper (for lack of beter rebels units to use) Fulfills two of the criteria.
Rocket Trooper: 100 health 20 shields starting
Clone pistols up to level 2 (3 if arcs get a new weapon next build)
Clone rifle up to level 1
NEW WEAPON Ion rifle, 3 upgrades: Level 1 buys the weapon with a semi-rapid fire attack, larger sprite then a normal bolt and it does more damage to shields then to health; Level 2 buys a secondary attack that charges to release a more powerful bolt with a small splash radius, the bolt deals damage relative to length of charge and splash relative to length of charge, has the effects of an EMP on dekas/sbds for 2 seconds; Level 3 increases clip size and makes the primary shot deal damage to enemy ammo, not empty a clip like the emp but take out like 10 ammo with each hit that connects.
Fuel (same as mandos)
Dex to level 2 (for jump)
Stamina to level 3
Ammo and armor (armor pry compareable to heros.)

I would still like to see for a new class.
Gungans:
There were many of them so i suggest quite a few Reinforcements.
New Weapons: Gungans little Blue Electric ball. And there shield that are almost bigger than there body.
Stats:Stamina like a Arc, Dexterity like a Arc. Limit there armor to lvl 2 and give them lvl 3 ammo.
Ewoks: Only playable on the Endor map (when released) Alot of reinforcements.
New Weapons: Sticks, Bows and arrows, Stones.
Stats:Level 4 Ammo, Lvl 1 armor.
And any more criticism on these classes would be appreciated.

I'd still like to see a medic class for Rebs (even though 2 classes can heal themselves Hero's is quite limited and Jedi is sorta useless IF ONLY facing sith spam) It could be like in Ep3 how the clone called in a medic.
Anyway the class could have a limited number of times it could heal (depending on points) and the amount it could heal depended on how long the person stayed to heal. (It could sorta be like the tech class like in...dare I say it...Base Siege... :eek: )
But for weapons...I dunno. You guys can elaborate on that ... :p
