It would be cool if u can choose an engineer who can hack consoles and 4 example they can place some cool traps. Like an EMP mine... this would shut down every electric thing weapons jetpack and droids.
And for the next map the team build.... it would be cool if u need to hack consoles...

I would make a R2D2
R2D2 can hack consoles...
The weapons...
hmm an EMP gun...
R2D2 has a jetpack too and he could go through small ways..
I would make some secret ways for the droids ... like in Jedi outcast when u played as an r2d2.......
And he is like a medic ... can heal some1.
some shields were cool too

R2 would have to have dodge!
ESB had him dodging tonnes of blaster shots!
and the smoke generator he had too! (nice parrellel to smoke grenades in CS :P)
and the cattle prod thing he used on Jabba yacht in ROTJ =D
Hes just 1 big tactical weapon! =D

not sure it'd be a very practical class to play... but it'd sure be funny!

Anyone ever played r2 in single? None of the npcs pay attention to you as you saber throw there legs off :)

Engineers sounds like a very good idea , imperial engineers should also be able to repair a droideka in a certain amount of time , but this might not be such a good idea as droidekas are overpowered at the moment anyway.

The imperials could have an Imp R5 while the rebels have an R2-D2 lookalike.

That would be sweet :D but the consoles would need alot of hard mapping and scripting...but once its done it would be lovely , i also like more complex maps , If you have played the demo of jedi outcast , you will know that the level for the demo was quite lovely , except for a door i couldnt seem to get open , a map like that would be just excellent

All that stuff would make the droid over powered. And it would be hard to make all this stuff, also being a medic would be very unbalanced.

Isn't it R5s for the Imperials, but as far as I know, you can get R2s for Imperials, they have a black and brown casing?

I don't really know that much about droids, since i knew about r2 and r4, and r2 are so used among rebels...

We could have suicide droids , they need 80 points in total to get level 3 suicide , and it makes a big explosion and destroys everything , but that was only a joke , also when will we be getting more complex maps like the demo level for outcast?

I've an idea!!!!
The healers could send some droids that will suicide ... Like they can control them for about 7 seconds and then they get suicide like a missle but the healer can navigate them....

That would be cool hehe ^^ nice joke :p

maybe the "medic" class could be broader like "tech" for example
possible powers:

console hacking
this would be for a mission objective but maybe not needed to win like and alternative but it would be handy like a back entarnce or something or like turning off cameras or turrets
the various levels would increase the speed of the hacking

medic
healing people mainly but level 3 could revive one player if thats not to unbalenced

enginer
heals dekas and consoles and turrets etc

emp
like a thermal but a bigger range and all electronic devices malfunction
the lvl changes the severity of the effect (so exmple on lvl 3 the turrets stop working but on lvl 1 they just slow down a bit) and also the length of time

hacker
can hack droid npcs and control them and also change the turrets to their side for a limited time



might be unbalnced some and would take some nice coding...

That seems like a combination of Nox and a level in outcast where you control a r2 unit... (in Nox one of the classes was the conjurer, he could summon a small red thingie with two legs and fill it with spells... then the "thing" would get near an enemy and explode releasing all those spells)
