how comes when you have lvl3 distrution rifle that when you do a chage up shot but dont use it the ammo is still taken away. is this meant to be normal or is it a mistake, cause it would be nice if you didnt lose the ammo even though u havent taken a shot yet

Its like this in base too, i think of it as the power is stored in capacitors for use. This causes over heating so it makes it not possible to retain the energy after firing.

i always thought that in base if you didnt use the charge up shot u got the ammo back

I'm pretty sure you don't, but i may be wrong. You also lose the charge when you move

yeah thats what i mean i know if you move you lose the charge but i dont think you should lose the ammo aswell cause you havent fired yet

Would you rather they made it if you have a charge you cannot change weapons or move? I don't think so. Think of it as a charge dump to keep your position hidden.

im not saying that i dont mind losing the charge when i move im just annoyed at losing the ammo when i move
