Tom did this not long ago, but prices do change overnight also opinions.

Ive read the positive n negatives, still dont know whats the best deal.

Club3d RADEON 8500LE 64ram is the one i got now n its gettin old even my notebook has an radeon 9600 :S

My budget 200Euro its about 200 somethin dolars:

Options:

Asus V9570 GeForce FX5700 256 MB TV-out/DVI € 155,-

Asus ATi Radeon 9600XT 128 MB TV-out/DVI € 165,-

Club3D ATi Radeon 9600 Pro 256 MB DVI/TV-out € 149,-

Club3D ATi Radeon 9600XT 128 MB DVI/TV-out € 155,-

Club3D GeForce FX5900XT 128 MB DVI/TV-out € 189,-

Yes i really dont know what i want, Is there a difference in brand Does ASUS deliver better quality, are the bundles the only difference and is 256 better then 128 ?

Help me out pleez.

i would like the ASUS V9999 Gamers edition but that is jusst too much over my budget.

I seriously suggest you spend abit more and get a next gen. card.

I got myself a Geforce 6800GT last week, and it completely pwnorizes all games, even manages 60fps in Doom3, high detail :o

I just noticed something subliminal about Jawa's avatar.

In my opinion I would maybe aim for something less powerful and stick to Nvidia as opposed to another brand with a GeForce chipset. I don't really trust anything but either ATI or Nvidia, so I'd recommend you play it safe. That's just me though, and it really depends on what games you want to play.

Now ima thinkin of the next gen 3.0 version, it juss sounds too good n with benchmarks also, hope the price drops on the fx6800 ive seen the Club3D GeForce 6800 128MB DDR for € 278,13 maybee if it drops some more it would be good.

still a shame that that card doesnt have 256 DDR3 :(

It isnt. If you must buy one of your list, buy a 9600XT.

However, if you can afford it the 6800GT is a beauty of a card and one of the best buys in years for price/performance.

yep Acidus is totally right the 6800GT is just the 1337 card these days
but incase u want to stick around the €200 mark , i think 9800Pro is best choice

get the nvidia ge force fx 5200 or 5600 there the best for that price .. very powerful .. and if u have over 256 ram on ur pc and over a 1. 4 gig processor .. it ooutporforms anything u will get for under 300 dollers

also i would recomend a 256 memory .. but 128 is good enough for almost anything nothing under that tho .. or i will have 2 pawn u on movie battles .. and u can feel the pain of missarable 64 mb graphics

Not true. Whatever you do ziek, do not buy an fx card. They're not very good. ATI truly whipped the crap out of nvidia in that generation.

here we r a few days later n the prices change:

Asus GeForce 6800 128MB DDR (AGP, DVI), V9999/TD € 274,-
(benchmark 9100?)

Club3D GeForce 6800 128MB DDR € 276,82
(benchmark 9100)

Club3D GeForce 6800 LE 128MB DDR (AGP, DVI), CGN-L688TVD € 265,58 (benchmark 6700)

XFX GeForce 6800 LE 128MB DDR (DVI), PVT40LNAFB € 199,-
(benchmark 6700?)

I know the LE only has 8 pipelines so its crapier then the standard with 12 pipelines n faster clock :S

Good thing i want to buy it in december hope santa claus drops the prices on the standard 6800

I like the led on the asus fan, is there any other difference other then fanz in the brands ASUS, Club3d or XFX ?

some led lights and some pci n usb gear on it.

acidus .. i will agree with you in that a nvidia fx card WILL NOT RUN very good at all unless you have a fairly good pc .. i would reccomend anything above 1.7 gig for prosesor .. and a large amount of memory .. at least 256 .. i have 2 gigs on my pc .. and a huge power supply .. above 650 watts .. but if u have anything under those lines .. get a radion .. but believe me when i say i do know what i am talking about .. i have had them all ok

But when talking about AMDs, look at the name part. 1800+ means about 1800 intel MHz's.

get the nvidia ge force fx 5200

Do not TOUCH the FX5200 ... even WITH a ten foot barge pole.
I swapped my old one out for a Geforce 4 TI4200 I picked up off ebay for £30, which gives about 20% more performance. Next step is an old CPU HSF and some serious overclocking of it. :D

I can't believe Apple is shipping the FX5200 in the the new G5 iMacs. My mate has one and is wondering why his games run like treacle on it.

i duno what ****zo is wit ur pc but the fx line is the most stable cards i have ever played on .. and outstanding power .. especialliy considering how little prossesor power they take up .. its a great card the only one i hjave found better than the 5200 in porformance and stability is the 5600 ... also of the fx line ..

Ziek .. if you have an athlon or amd prossesore .. u shouldnt worry .. no meaning on dissin intels prosesor " i have one .. but amd and athlon are much better i think as far as gameing

That same good pc would be put to better use on a good graphics card.

yes .. only a "good" card would cost much more cash than ziek wants 2 pay wouldnt it

6800LE128 3dmark2k1: 15159
6800LE128 3dmark2k3: 6372

9800pro128 3dmark2k1: 16075
9800pro128 3dmark2k3: 5669

9600xt256 3dmark2k1: 12492
9600xt256 3dmark2k3: 3736

x800pro256 3dmark2k1: 17236
x800pro256 3dmark2k3: 9588

looks very fine for the price ;)
