Convincing Clan Members

What would you say to someone who says that "MB2 sucks", because I was trying to convince the server provider of my clan to change the server to MB2 because people hardly go on it. But he said no because he wants it base jka, and also some other members said that that Mb2 is the worst mod, which is pretty aobvious that they've never played it. So what would I say to them because I can't make speeches even if my Life depended on it. Any help would be appreciated.

you could tell them to check the site and the forum , i mean if a mod sux it would not have that many post and members

My clan also didn't want the mod on the site. They said it's not on any good download sites and there's not much known about it. I tried to explain beta and ****, but they won't listen. So my clan won't have a server up till it's completly done and on all the mod sites if at all :mad:

Tell them that the MB community is a lot smaller than base JKA so you actually get to know people and develop tactics with them.

You could always try recording a demo of a game... if you can't get them to play directly of course.

man this mod makes jka worth buying i was rly disapointed with the game and thought "man i just wasted 40 bucks" when i first got it untill i found this mod then i was like OMG THIS OWNS SO HARD

actually, when i first tryed MB mod, i didnt like it at all, i died all the time (played it max 10 minutes and quit), then few weeks later i dont know what happened, just started to play it and now im addicted to it (maybe rusty convinced me its a good mod or i wanted to do more realistic saber duels, really dont remember)
but what you need to do is: invite them to some server, let them win for few rounds, then theyll understand why its a good mod :)

EXACTLY the same with me. I, as well as Keshire, used to be students in The Jedi Academy, a group of a few hundred to one thousand players who teacher new guys how to saber in base JK2/3. After a few months, I got bored b/c it wasn't real sabering and I discussed movierealistic saber fighting with lots of other students. On The Jedi Academy's website forums, someone posted a link to Movie Battles 2...Mistake #1. I was curious, read the forum posts, clicked the link...Mistake #2. I downloaded the mod and played it...Mistake #3. I have been hooked ever since, my grades have dropped from an average grade of 0 to negative numbers, and people are getting pissed that I can game all day while they have to work simply because I don't bother doing work...I mean because I finish my homework/studying very quickly.

How did I get convinced?
The server named www.moviebattles.com. Decided to try the URL. Downloaded it (read about 1 page total of description meanwhile downloading), joined the server and... Played base 2 times after that, total of 0,5 hours.

Maybe we should create a virus that makes computers download MB and install it as the only option...

hmm movie battles sounds cool wonder where i can dl it.. low and behold bout a week later the server said movie battles (www.moviebattles.com)

Note. It was Kenyon, not Keshire, who was in the Academy with me. I was falling asleep and reading up on making JK3 animations when I wrote my earlier post which is why I said Keshire instead.
