i don't know whether this already has been mentioned (maybe a "Known Bugs" sticky in this forum would be helpful) but there seems to be a minor bug with Jabba. sometimes he does not start moving although u pressed "use" on him and the "Jabba is on the move" message appeared. it seems to me like this happens if u press the "use" button for a bit too long, causing the game to assume u pressed "use" twice, the 2nd time making him stop again. this can be very annoying at the beginning when u try to get him out of the rebel's line of fire and he simply won't move  it seems to work fine if u only "tap" the "use" button. maybe the re-trigger time needs to be upped?
the second thing about Jabba is the "beat jabba up to move him faster" issue. is this a bug or intended? becuz if u beat him up "the right way", he only needs approximately half of the time to get to his exit point he'd need if he walked normally. plus it seems a bit odd if the mercs beat up their own boss ;)
the third issue is that the mand's flamethrower seems to be able to go through certain walls (e.g. at the "bedroom" entrance) - although this also applies e.g. to the wall next to the door to the rebel's spawn point on tantive. seems a bit unrealistic to me - walls r supposed to be solid, right? ;)
don't get me wrong - after all, i think jabba is a great map :)
To be honest, when he's gettin beaten up, the timescale seems a lot better.
When you just walk him he can't even get out of the first corridor before the enemies reach it. He needs his movement speed increased a bit.
yep jabba needs to walk faster...ok i know hes a fat fag :D but hey...a diet could help....lol
Also there are still 'holes-in-wall' bugs on the map. I've been able to access one through rolling into a side passage of a wall. I can take screenshots if that would help.

lol as if he hadnt diet enough :p
lol sorry my idea was ****....he should be BIGGER!!! so he can roll down the stairs when hes on the way to escape :P
What about him walking on his own to the exit? (and the rolling wouldn't work, he needs more speed in the beggining, not the end :P)
damnit this jabba makes me confused XD
but yeah...he should walk alone :D

i think making jabba walk alone would have both an advantage and a disadvantage.
advantage:
- guiding jabba is quite boring for the player who does it as all he has to do is stand around and wait for jabba
disadvantage:
- if u make jabba walk on his own, there is only one path he can take. atm u can guide him everywhere, e.g. to locations that r relatively easy to defend. so u basically always have the choice whether u want to try and rescue him or hide him and try to kill all attackers. it is more flexible the way it is atm.
That about the USE-thing is true, I think.
But his speed is correctly, you just have to know how to handle him (right, Pep? :) )
I only don't liek it, when you are beginning with mando, you only have a gun, and maybe armor, and jedis then can kill u sooo easy
Yeah, make him 3 times bigger then normal, plz
LOL 3 times bigger? he couldnt walk through a door(for example in the dungeon)!!!

And you can kill the jedi sooo easy. Becaus he probably hasn't any points in saber defense yet. Just blast him.
What about making him walk to the exit until somebody "uses" him? so if your team wants to make him escape he'll walk away, if you want to hide him you can too.
I think he should just start walking for cover, to the back or down the corridor for example, and then stop, so that the team do manually have to move him, and not just sit back and relax. ;) Also, make anyone on Imp who tries to melee Jabba die instantly :D :p

I went into spectator mode to look for some mapping issues and look what I've found:
Not many people want to work under the sun of Tatooine... so Jabba had to do with amateurs at palace building... this is the result :P
On the last one: if Jabba falls there, the only way to get him out is to put a thermal under his... "tail". Maybe making him a bit bigger so he doesn't fit through the holes (or the hole down to de pit... :P) would be good.

omg! you called a LDJ map amateur work
nah mistakes can happen ...
I was joking damnit :P
It's a great map, those little glitched won't even be noticed while playing (at least i don't think they were until now).

I was kiddin' too :p
But since I'm a mapper I'm forced to notice every small glinch cause I pay attention to the architecture.
Another problem with the map (with any map really): since going downstairs seems to be the same as jumping, any gunner walking (or moving while crouching) downstairs can get pushed/pulled. I think it happens in tantive too, in those strange tunnels where you can get a step over the ground.

Yes, a slight bug in the coding slipped through and causes this. Basically means that crouching on uneven ground doesn't mean you are 100% safe of Force Push. We've fixed it for the upcoming build.
Besides the gfx-errors Pahricida has pointed out, are there any other flaws in the Jabba Palace Map I should be aware off ?
There are at least 2 walls which you can get into in the throne room, one is the left column down the stairs from the rebel spawn, the other is the last column following that side of the map.
Yes and the fact that Jabba gets squashed by the first exit door. It opens, he goes through and closes on top of him. ;) A bit like it does with the Rancor in Episode VI.

since stairs have been mentioned - dekas shouldn't be able to roll up them.
im not if it has been mentioned but when jedi/sith go downstairs thier BP falls
im not sure if this is intentional or not but it seems that its caused because jedi lose BP when falling but not on the way up
you should be able to solve this by putting a clip brush that is clipped diagonally so they make an invisible ramp down the stairs
