Fable for xbox

Who's played this game?

I myself thought it was awesome, the engine was very well built.
I enjoyed it so much that I helped start a fan site devoted to modding it.

So far we had an interview with G4TV.COM and have the support of the Developers. Of course there's only so much help they can give us without pissing MS off. :)

I liked Fable.
Not very much for it's gameplay, wich is cool at first but gets repetitive really fast, but because it all looked so cozy.
I really liked the style of the game, and the way they used the visual effects to create said style.
Really, any dev-monkey can add bump-mapping or advanced lightning to a game, but to really utilize such effects to create an atmosphere, that requires a master :)
Friggin loved the music too.

I'd like to play it, but i'd rather not buy an XBox for that... damn Molyneux and his games... (still waiting for Dungeon Keeper 3 even.... there was a trailer at the end of DK2 :P)

I am not allowed to play "M" rated games because my parents say I can only play them when I'm 18, and it's not a good idea to argue with my parents :p Anyway, let's just hope they still have good games out when I'm 18. Only another 5 more years :p

Look at the bright side... you'll be able to buy them for much less, and they'll all run fine in your pc (the pc ones at least).

I love it. Its an extremely ambitious game.

I didnt truly appreciate the complexity of the renown system until a couple of things happened:

I had gone good all the way, and I had a halo. But I had gotten sick of one of my wives and decided I'd like to get rid of her and rent the house out for some extra cash. I checked and noticed she was in the local pub, so went there.

Then I proceeded to beat her up, threaten her, hit on other women and be very nasty. After an afternoon of beatings she finally divorced me.

Since that day, I have regained my halo and practically everywhere I go I am adored.. except those few people that saw me treat my wife that way that one day in the pub.

This is when I realised the renown system doesnt just globally change the reaction of npcs when they see you, rather every single npc in the game has a unique reaction to you based on rumour, hearsay and their own interactions with you, however slight.

Brilliance really.
