I figured we could start clean with a good, nice ,non-vulgar thread with positive thoughts.Lets talk about certain games that other players in this community should experience.Lets keep it all positive and not start off on the wrong foot or else the gods of movie battles shall strike us down wih thier backhands of might and cast us deep into the pits of the dreaded netherealm........
anyways ,heres some info for the new MORTAL KOMBAT:...........................
.................................
Delivering the most complete fighting game to date, along with the lethal intensity that the franchise has been known for since its 1992 debut in arcades, Mortal Kombat: Deception is set to revolutionize the fighting game genre. With unlimited competition online plus multiple fatalities per character, multi-tiered interactive backgrounds and extensive new game modes, Mortal Kombat: Deception delivers, for the first time, an enhanced free-roaming Konquest mode, an action/strategy board game and a unique puzzle game that compliment the enhanced, one-on-one fighting mode.
heres a LONG LONG list of a few of the characters from the regular version of mortal kombat deception:
Noob Saibot- Saibot is back, and he looks like some darkened crazy doctor out of a horror movie. It is still illogical why he was under orders of Kahn (being in the Brotherhood of the shadow) but killed Goro. This story will likely be explained in Konquest mode
Baraka- It is hinted that Baraka might be the rumoured "ally" of the Dragon King. This would make Baraka’s story very interesting and dynamic after so many years of unchanged character. The eyes of the Dragon King in the Mortal Kombat Deception trailer look quite reminiscent to Baraka, though they are likely the Dragon King's.
Mileena- Mileena has returned and with the most revealing MK outfit ever. Mileena will most likely be out to go after the throne of Edenia, possibly attepting to kill her mother and Queen, or even her sister Kitana. Sindel, also returned, will likely be an opposition as well.
Sindel- Queen Sindel took back Edenia after Kahn’s invasion on Earth. Since then, she and Kitana have been ruling the realm and attempting to try and restore it. During MKDA, Sindel stayed home in Edenia to govern and moderate her realm of Edenia, and now is likely here to defend it outside of her realm.
Sub-Zero- The future for Sub-Zero does not look good at all. He has helped the Netherealm demon Sareena (which is a bad idea) and also is targeted by the Red Dragon. Not only this, but there’s a slight chance Frost could return and try to once again steal the amulet, of course, but Sektor and his Tekunin clan will likely be involved.
Scorpion- Scorpion returning is inevitable to market to the masses of pallet swap-loving fans, but the stale ninja Scorpion no longer has anyone against whom to seek necessary revenge, so his story is entirely anomalous at this time.
Nightwolf- Nightwolf is wise, and could be a more human-like Raiden type character in this version of the series. We know not why he has returned, but likely to be a fresh face since his disappearance.
Ermac- Ermac will most likely return to help Kenshi, simply because Kenshi freed the warrior composed of dead fighters from Shao Kahn’s grasp. Ermac will probably fight on the good side this time, rather than bad, unfortunately.
Dragon King- The "sinister force" which tormented Edenia and realms for hundreds of years, encapsuled in the Dragon Egg in Deadly Alliance. Having been "reborn" in the body host of Reptile in his ending, the Dragon King is now alive to torment other realms, or all realms, in MK Deception, and is the final boss. Ed Boon stated this in a 1Up interview in April 2004:
Bo' Rai Cho- Bo' Rai Cho is to return but possibly only in Konquest mode as a guide and trainer, but will likely return as a secret character for playable kombat in other modes.
Ashrah- Ashrah is said by Boon in May of 2004 to be a warrior of the Heavens to fight evil, yet also apparently must battle her own inherent evil, to whatever extend that means. Ashrah, a white-clad female, will likely appear as some kind of holy figure or Heavenly incarnation.
Hotaru- It is said by Ed Boon in May of 2004 that Hotaru is destined to 'retain order' in Outworld, and regulate impropriety to whatever specification he desires. Reminscence exists to Dairou, the samurai who was barred from his clan for being too aggressive, and offered a sect of the Dragon Army by Shang Tsung. We can also see his weapon appears to be a halberd or a pike
Kenshi- Kenshi will help Earthrealm again, and probably the special forces with Jax and Sonya, if both are still alive. Kenshi will also be out to find the Mavado, who attacked him in Deadly Alliance. The German issue of PSM magazine in April also stated that Kenshi is to return in certainty, but it is not confirmed.
Skab- stated to be present in Mortal Kombat Deception only by commentary of the April German Playstation magazine, and is unconfirmed. Skab is a rotting skeletal body, a ripoff of Drahmin, likely of evil affiliation and likely to be an executioner.
Kira- confirmed to be returned by Game Informer magazine May issue. Kira is said to be a Black Dragon warrior, and the sole survivor who is known to this date since Kano's death. Kira will likely revive the clan and continue war against the very occupied Red Dragon. Kira is rumoured to be the 'Female Kano' listed below, but as per possibilities, let us assume she is not and that there is an extra character. The hair covering her left eye may cover an eyepatch.
Li Mei- confirmed to be returned by Game Informer magazine May issue. Li Mei will likely return either as a Dragon Soldier or having successfully saved her village which was promised to her by Quan Chi in Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance's prelude. Li Mei, at least in her alternate costume, is seen to be wearing her Dragon Army armour, which she obtained when being possessed by the Deadly Alliance
Kobra- stated to be present in Mortal Kombat Deception only by commentary of the April German Playstation magazine, and is seen in a screenshot from Gamespot. A world-wide champion boxer, with no apparently storyline.
Jarek- Jarek is confirmed to return
Fujin-
Drahmin-
Jax- confirmed to return by Gamespot shortly before E3; no information is known as of yet. It is likely he will assist Sonya yet again, or assist Kenshi in his efforts.
Havik-
Raiden- confirmed to return by the mouth of Ed Boon at the E3 convention. Nothing of his story is known.
Dairou- With many sketches of him in MKDA, Dairou was originally supposed to be in the game. With lack of time, the team could not fit him in. If you unlock his concept art in the krypt in MDKA, it hints that he is a possibility on the next installment. Confirmed to be returned by Game Informer magazine May issue.
Kabal- confirmed to return in Game Informer magazine, April, 2004. Nothing yet is known, yet it is likely his alternate will be unmasked and his primary will be masked. It is also likely that he will return to fight the Black Dragon in the wars with the Red Dragon, etc. The German issue of PSM magazine in April also stated that Kabal is to return in certainty
Tanya- confirmed to be returned by Game Informer magazine May issue. Tanya will likely return to attack Sindel, as she did in Mortal Kombat 4, probably with a new trick up her sleeve.
Smoke- confirmed to be returned by Game Informer magazine May issue. Smoke will likely be present to assist Sub-Zero in his Lin Kuei ventures as grandmaster's aide.
Liu Kang's spirit'-confirmed to be returned by Game Informer magazine May issue. This hideous display of disgust is worth vomiting to any veteran who has read this information, and we all should hopethat it is not factual. If he returns, he will likely be a drifting soul, as the one in whom his soul was transferred, Kano, was killed in Deadly Alliance. The magazine claims that he will return in the form of a zombie or a ghost, with alternation.
Darrius: Leader of the Resistance in the Realm of Order, Darrius lives a life in the shadows. His ambition is to overthrow the oppressive regime that strangles freedom. To some he is a hero... but to others he is nothing more than a terrorist.
Shujinko- Long before Liu Kang had won the Mortal Kombat tournament in Earthrealm, Shujinko had begun his quest to retrieve the Kamidogu for the Elder Gods. His journey took him to many realms where he met many experienced warriors.
Scorpion: In his haste to confront his nemesis, Quan Chi, he was ambushed by two Oni and cast into a powerful soulnado. He would have been torn apart by the souls trapped there had he not escaped into the Void. In this place, he first set eyes on the fabled Elder Gods
Sub-Zero- While still in Outworld, the Lin Kuei Grand Master, Sub-Zero, discovers the secret of his true heritage - the source of his mastery over cold temperatures. This discovery will aid him in the fight to destroy the Dragon King's vile and bloodthirsty Tarkatan hordes
Baraka- Baraka's Tarkatan race is a mutated hybrid of Netherealm and Outworld species. A loyal warrior, Baraka faithfully serves his new master, the Dragon King, by preoccupying Outworld opposition with his Tarkatan hordes, the backbone of the Dragon King's terrifying army.
Sindel- A new threat has put Queen Sindel's realm of Edenia in peril. With the aid of her faithful ally Jade, she will travel to Outworld to defeat the Dragon King and free her daughter Kitana from his control
some profiles were not very deeply researched as you can see. But, if u buy the game soon with an extra 10 dollars you can ge some sort of "special edition" with some sort of very special feature(s).EVERY CHARACTER FROM EVERY MK WILL BE FEATURED ........A LOT OF FRIGGIN CHARACTERS HUH?heres the 1st character select screen it expands a lot from what i heard.
