View Full Version : Episode III Improved Anakin Skywalker
Im working on a reskin for the fabulous recent released model of Anakin by HapSlash.
I felt that there were a few things that were stealing the movie feeling, so I decided to make a reskin that fits the character better.
Here are some shots:
PS: The image quality is bad but its the fastest way I can upload them :p
Looks cool, the evil eyed ones certainly look a lot better (no offense to HapSlash of course, the model kicks ass).

Hapslashe's models are over-rated. These anakin models are way better. GJ.
This is a skin. Not a model. The model is Hapslash's.

I like the little forehead hair effect with the hoods, but otherwise it looks kind of dumb.
Hapslash's work is great, people ALWAYS whine about anything, even if it's good.

Good Reskin frost, it looks closer to the movie Anakin, the skin by Hapslash was good but looked a little different from the movie one. :p

not a clone of hayden indeed. But also, his obiwan isnt a clone of ewan mc gregor. Hapslash gives a special touch to all of his models, like any artist would do on a paper.

Much better. HapSlash's Episode III Anakin's faces seemed really blurry to me. And the Episode II's entire head was just wrong.

And, the Episode III's head looks fine in game. The screenshots of it pretty much stink.

God, some of you people can be whiny bastards. Allow others on the forum to give construction criticism. I haven't seen any "yah the original jus sux." People are posting their opinions and the reasons for why they feel this way. If Frost (or anyone else for that matter) feels like editing the model or skin and <i>allowing</i> (read: not coercing) people to use it,then let him/her.
Stop complaining that there are people who offer you variety.

Me too.. HS's Anakin is more like the movie one, I think. But thats just me.

I really don't understand why you are reskinning this Anakin, especially with such minimal flaws in it. There is plenty of others that need work such as the current Ep2 Obi-Wan. He has redish hair and his cloths look nothing like the movie counterpart.

Some of you guys really fustrate other people without realising. Hapslash has been working on that model for months or a year, I'm not quite sure. You repay by saying 'Innacurate!! next model'
I skinned Anakin because I can. And I did. So that's your why.
And let me remind you that this thread is about my skin and not of Who's Made the Best Anakin Skin. So if you feel like ranting, instigating an argument and/or complaining about it, please make a thread of your own for it. In the Offtopic section.

It's good and it's more movie realistic to the Anakin, but really Frost it's unneeded. Regardless, it's your choice even though I think time could be better spent on other models that need to be reskinned. It looks good and hope to see it released soon.

If he wanted to do this in his free time let him, he liked HS new model but wanted to make a few changes to it himself, at least he can be bothered to get re-skinning rather than sitting here whining about it.

Virus pretty much said it all. Just wanted to add that I dont do things by your definition of need or anyone else's "need".
I didnt like the feeling oh HS' Anakin face, so I reskinned it. Simple as that.

No was taking the piss out of others comments, was in a rush cleaned up the post. The skin imo is fine both of them, depends if you want an anakin heavy on the eye liner or without as much :p
Both skins are great and the best you can find short of getting the actor himself and spending a few months looking at him.... nahhh

This wasn't the impression I was trying to give off. The model has almost minimal flaws in it, even Frosts reskin contains like no big differences except the sith version. There is plenty other models that I think the MB team should look into reskinning as most of the models are 10x worse, having four times as many flaws as the HS Anakin. Look at the Episode 2 Obi-Wan, it looks terrible.
Like I said though, it's his choice not mine.
